Great review
At last, somebody reviewed the Subaru Crosstrek! Ang lakas nyo sa Motor Image ha.
Really great vehicle, no wonder it's a top seller in the US. But at that price, the Honda HRV RS which i believe is roughly 1.8M, could be a clincher. With the HRV you get Honda Sensing just as the same as the eyesight with a few more added tech, a more efficient 1.5L turbo and about 20 more HP, and of course you also get to have that Japanese reliability, though Subaru handling is much more refined. Crosstrek's price and gas-guzzler could be a deal breaker as a match up to the HRV RS.
The pricing of MotorImage tho is expensive for the most part. 1.9million for the base and 2m++ for premium?
Here in Australia the base costs 39k AUD + 4k worth of registration and all tax and duties around 43k is somewhere around 1.5mil for the base while the premium model is 46kAUD inclusive of 5k worht of registration and still just around 1.7million pesos.
You'll get a Premium Hybrid Model here for 50k and still won't go beyond 1.9million pesos.
Wala pang test drive review.
Magaling talaga mag-review si sir Eric Tipan...natural na natural.👍🏻
Nice Subaru!👌🏻
All around car,on road & offroad, compact suv,ok pang everyday use…hindi gaya nang mga dambuhalang mga pick up…para kang may dalang kalabaw…at sagabal sa parking…
Its a CVT, the transmission will overheat with prolonged offroading on steep hills... I wish they'd move away from CVT..
symmetrical kasi so there are size constraints, otherwise you'd break the symmetry. i think there's not enough space for a conventional A/T. it's definitely not for hardcore offroading
@@rondg2 Right now I'm looking at the CX-5 which has a modified/modernized traditional 6 speed AT and with the new offroad mode in 2023, i think that it would be a better offroad vehicle in an emergency situation
@@VRJA-ds5pt Never said it's unreliable. I said it overheats with prolonged offroading on steep hills.
I bet the new CVTs from toyota, subaru and honda are extremely reliable otherwise.
I’m interested to this car and also to the new honda crv, what do you guys think?
alam mo ba na ang subaru at porsche lang ang gumagamit nang symmetrical AWD,SUBARU already tested on RALLY,& become world champion....
It's a great car. Is it 2,000,000 pesos great? I dunno about that.
Have you tried riding this latest version? Nvh are so much quieter than most crossovers costing aroung 1 to 1.5 m, also the body is rigid that you feel its solidity during cornering and/or during off camber light offroad.
The reliability of it. And its made in Japan. Its just that spare parts are scarce. And it comes with almost semi autonomous driving tech.
Ofcourse it's a premium brand so it comes with premium price 🤷♂️
@@zachareezuniga3741 still expensive. Australia 2024 crosstrek premium around 45kAUD would sit around 1.7million pesos. 50kAUD premium Hybrid will be less than 1.9million. and mind you that is inclusive of 4000-5000AUD tax and stamp duty plus rego of 1year as. without that stamp duty it is even cheaper.
base model crosstrek here costs 39k aud plus 3k stamp duty and tax. just around 1.5million pesos. so that alone. Base model philippines is almost half a million pesos higher than how its priced in Australia.
