RMC's new series is called Ageing Gracefully: A Talk Show for Evergreens. the feelings of loneliness and being unproductive are very common experiences among those stepping into their golden age. How do we understand these realities, what can the family do to deal with these feelings and how to plan for our life after retirement? Tune in to find your answers. Here is your key to learning how to live what the Psalm says: "Planted in the house of the Lord...They will still yield fruit in advanced age; They will be full of sap and very green." (cf. Psalm 92:13-14)

God bless you Fr. Juvi Dr. John and Gila. What an eye opener. We all feel lonely specially when we are depressed..but I know someone who is with me is my Lord and Saviour. Prayer can sometimes banish loneliness and a quiet time talking to the Lord. But most important we should be open and talk about our loneliness..to Our near and dear ones.

Really struggled to come to terms with his loss, but am truly grateful for the lovely programs you bring out in not only ageing gracefully but also the program on teach us to pray; apart from the Mass, Rosary and Novenas. Sincerely grateful for the comfort. May God bless you all in your reach out efforts.

This episode is an eye-opener for introspection. Whichever age group you belong to, it's time to ponder over everything that has been discussed. I am very old. I am eighty and I teach children in the evening. I am given food and a beautiful room but there is no one in the family to talk to me. Somehow I don't feel lonely .I pray enjoy homilies of our dear frs of RMC .My children have to work and l converse with my friends on the mobile. I have time now to talk to Jesus and repent. I pray and I know Jesus loves me.

Both father Juvi and the Doctor where really good and the program was very helpful and true-but I feel the time allotted should be at least 1hr to allow more " in depth ",-Audience participation also !
Sorry, this is a departure from the subject, Ageing Gracefully. Just want to point out the need for reasonably priced and reasonably comfortable Homes for Seniors who are no longer able to live on their own. If the Church can do something in this area, it would be a boon.
This episode really appealed to me as I have been alone for the last 8 years. I keep myself busy all the time but there are times when I really feel lonely
Reading the Bible has really given me the courage to carry on
True we need good comfortable homes for those who cannot live alone
