You are so welcome!
@@MoneMedia I am doing time stamps again
Very cool Brother Thanks ❤
Honey combs was my favorite
@@carolynadkins9311that was my sister's favorite, too!😀
WOW...I watched the ABC cartoon lineup in '83 and I remember us being out of town @ Christmas time that year and I missed my toons!!! Who would've thought I would be watching them on a phone 40 years later!!! 😂😊❤
Thanks for the blast from the past ❤❤❤
You're welcome. 83 was a good year to be a kid
@@eSh..❤❤❤❤
Fellow Xers, that Happy Holidays McDonald's commercial really got me, I remember that like it was yesterday, how the little kid was feeling left out because he couldn't skate but Ronald helped him by taking him back to his friends, like you'll be big enough soon. We all know that feeling. Rest in peace my innocent childhood.
r.i.p
I haven't gotten t that point in the video yet, but I know exactly the commercial you're talking about! I'm looking forward to seeing it again!
@MoneMedia you know that's a very young Corey Feldman, right?? IIRC that's actually his first commercial. ❤
Trip down memory lane. Thank you so much! 👍🏼👍🏼
Glad you enjoyed it!
😁😁
The most amazing thing about a Rubik's Cube is that they were able to make a cartoon out of it.
Hell, they sold millions of rocks to people.
And another thing about a rubix cube too. How to solve it?
@@tonyarceneaux286 Take the sucker apart!
That cartoon seemed weird to me when I was a kid of about 9 years old. I think I watched a different network channel during it, but I do remember watching it a few times, perhaps when my regular cartoon of that time slot hit reruns during the season.
Was only on for 1 season I remember being bummed out 😮
This was my Saturday morning! I had just turned 6 years old 23 days before. 😀 It's sad that kids today will never experience the joy of Saturday morning cartoons.
now we have cartoon network, boomerang, and disney channel. you can watch cartoons anytime. but some of the cartoons of today are boring.
Happy birthday!!
Made my whole day!!! This is the best!! Christmas 1983 all I wanted was a Cabbage Patch KId. I watch your videos every Saturday morning. Thanks so much!!
Happy holidays!
Those were so hard to find! I remember how those flew off the shelves. I was only 9 years old back then, so I wasn't the person doing the shopping.
Did you get your Cabbage Patch Kid? My sister got one, but I can't remember if she got it for Christmas in 1983, or if she had to wait until later.
I miss 1983
Same! I wanna go back!!!!
Lots of fun stuff to watch here and a simpler time in some ways.
I was 10 yrs old watching these cartoons dec 1983..
LOVE IT! 1983 I MISS YOU! GREAT MEMORIES GROWING UP AROUND CHRISTMAS TIME. 👍👍🤘🤘🤘
The 1980s on Saturday Mornings were a great time to be a child in America!
This was such an awesome time to have been growing up. I miss it a lot.
so cool to see the commercials now. the ones i couldnt wait to be over with, back then.
2:02:07 - The Littles are my favorite cartoon of all of these! I loved this show so much, when I was in elementary school I wished The Littles were real. I made cool stuff that would be the right size for them, and the show even gave ideas for making stuff like that.
Greetings to all these children in their 50’s!
Born in the late 80's, but, am interested to listen to what TV programs were like from before my time. Great work.

Ah the early 80s a dang fine time to be a kid
yes
Thank you for posting this! It’s rare to see a complete ABC Saturday Morning Broadcast from this era with an entire Menudo on ABC. Please post more if you have them!
You bet!
Wow that was a golden memory for me! Saturday mornings in the 80s were epic as it was, with the buffet of cartoons and sugar loaded cereals. Christmas Eve on a Saturday in the 80s was Nirvana!! Up early to feast on Captain Crunch and watch the Christmas themed cartoons, then we would prepare the house for all the friends and family that would come over that night to eat and trade gifts. I even recall there was a rare Christmas time snow in the area earlier in the week. Made it even more special. Those days of carefree excitement and anticipation especially being on break. This was a year ripe with toys ad the industry was really starting to roar on all cylinders. Thanks for posting this, going to share it with my kids and grandkids this year
This is the greatest idea on CZcams! I actually choked up a little when the intro to Scooby Doo came on. If you can, please keep them coming. Instant sub!
check out the playlist and thanks
I can remember i KNEW xmas was near from ONE specific commercial...The Fruity Pebbles commercial it seemed like when that commercial came on it made you high with happiness, God Saturday mornings seemed like a party for kids back then!
This was the Christmas I actually got Atari too. Bro I really appreciate you unlocking my fun moments of our past
That's so cool! I never got an Atari, but I always wanted one.
My family ended up getting one of those Sinclair systems that would load games via cassette tape. I wish we still had it.
Salute!! This instantly took me back to Christmas '83 when I was 5 years old!! What a great time to be a kid!!
I had a Rubik cube as a kid, spent many times playing with it
It's fun how old cartoons can make you feel like a child again pretty amazing That's for Joy of being a kid back then ❤💯👏👍
Used to think Lots O was an original character in the Toy Story films.
Ghosts Can Run, But They Can't Hide From Pac-Man!
thats right
or mezmoran.
Happy holidays
Happy holidays!
Brings back my childhood memories 😊❤
Richie Rich and his dog had the first smart phones back in 1983, Lol. Thank you for sharing these great memories.
Ha, I'm first! Almost Christmas in July!!! Thanks! That is some ambitious early computer animation in that Littles opening. I used to love that cartoon. That was probably my favorite ABC cartoon next to Ghostbusters which would come a few years later!
Happy holidays!
This brings back memories I loved Saturday morning cartoons as a kid
I'm here watching on Saturday morning! Happy Saturday
Morning!
How you only have 23k subs blows my mind!! COME ON YOU ALL!! Spread the word and give this man some support!! I know our generation is t dead yet! We’re in our late 40’s and 50’s!! This is my Saturday ritual. We need to support this priceless channel!!!
thank you Maverick
this aired before i was born but i still love it retro cartoons are the best
"All The Money In The World" is my second-most memorable Weekend Special! First is "COUGAR"!!! Thanks for uploading! Cheers
I remember it well. I was 17 and a junior in high school. It was like 10 below that night in Pittsburgh and I drove over to my Dad's and Stepmom's place for the Christmas party. There was a fire in the neighborhood and my stepbrother and I went out to look in short shirt sleeves despite the cold. I had a 1977 Pontiac Grand Prix, fired right up, even with an old battery. Drove home late, past curfew for a 17 year old but it was fun. We had a school strike for 6 weeks total but we found things to do, it is easy when you have a car. B-)
so I take it you were too old for Santa.
Awe chistmas in june!! Thanks Mone!! I was 5 years old when this stuff aired!! And I totally remember some of it!! I'm so thankful that you put these up, (idk where you get them but thanks!!
Omg I have been looking for Monchichi cartoons for so long!!! Now I can watch cartoons and have my cereal! !
Happy holidays!
I was also 5
Man i grew up in this era of cartoons but i didnt know the little rascals lived right next to richie rich. That should have been an amazing crossover. 😂😂
Saturday morning Christmas cartoon nice way cool off🙂
Yeah thanks
I had a Monchichis umbrella. The handle had the head of one on it, wearing a football helmet.
I was hoping for Legos this Christmas. I think this is the Christmas I got the huge yellow Lego castle.
Good old cartoons, they were the best 😊thanks for the upload ❤
It's kinda cool to see what Saturday Morning cartoons and Christmas commercials were like before I was born. I really miss Saturday Morning cartoon blocks on channels that didn't normally show cartoons. Made them somehow more special then ones on kid channels like Nickelodeon or Disney.
Only cartoons I'm familiar with are Pac-Man, Richie Rich to some extent, and The Littles, which I liked as a kid, as I remember watching many reruns of 80s cartoons, as a 90s kid.
It's funny how that Richie Rich "King Bee" villain looks more like a Space Ghost villain. Hanna Barbara had a distinctive style to it.
Do you by chance remember the get-a-long gang? Haha! We were talking about that last night. Hell, I even had a toy of Montgomery Moose.
oh yea, mosdef remember get along game
I remember the Get Along Gang also!!! Awwee!
Bingo the Beaver would mess stuff up all the time.
You are the greatest for having these memories for everyone to watch!!! Thank you!
You bet!
Menudo❤️💕🇵🇷 on ABC was the best thing about Saturday morning back then besides American Bandstand.
Was this one of the Ricky Martin years?
I remember when they visited Sesame Street.
I looked up the timeline, and this episode had Ricky Melendez, which is the member Ricky Martin took the place of in 1984.
Wonderful, awesome, superb, amazing & great trip down memory lane back to Xmas 🤶 🎁 🎅 💝 🎄 1984 and besides, it’s almost Christmas in July! I said it before and I say it again: I just love 💗 your video because they’re 👍 😊 great!
Keep up the good work!

Childhood years were great. ABC always had the best cartoons! Dash the greyhound on “Puppy’s Adventures” was hilarious!!! Great supporting character. Loved those ABC Weekend Specials...last chance to see cartoons on Saturday mornings....then it was time to go outside.
The best!
I wish I had watched that entire series. I always wondered if he ever found his way home.
@@DulcimeristYes he did reunite with his family. As I recall, the dogs caught up with the family in France only to discover they were being held captive by the week’s bad guys…who were forcing them into a private jet at the airport to take them back to New York.A runway chase took place with Petey nearly getting killed by a jetliner taking off with Dash saving him. For a moment the dogs feel defeated once again until they see a supersonic Concorde preparing for its own New York departure. Knowing that the plane will fly twice as fast as the one the captive family is aboard, the dogs stow away in the cargo hold and manage to arrive at JFK Airport several hours ahead of the others. They find the family and the criminals leaving the airport and a chaotic chase between the bad guys and family in a cab and the dogs in a horse buggy ensues…resulting in a crash and the bad guys getting pinned by the three big dogs until the cops arrive. Petey and Dolly tearfully and joyfully reunite with their humans, while Dash,Duke, and Lucky watch from the side. They are happy that they helped the little dogs on their adventures across the planet but now see that their work is done and it’s time to move on. As they quietly try to exit, Petey sighs at his family and motions towards the departing trio. The parents immediately invite the big dogs to “come home” as they are all a family. They accept, all embrace and the camera zooms out to show the NYC skyline. From that point on the new episodes feature the dogs traveling with the family around the country.
wow this brings so many memories
The kids today got robbed of an awesome childhood
damn right
🎀Thank you.🥰💌 🎅🎄🤶🦌
Doing the Lords work. God bless ya, and may you continue to grow and be successful in your art. Thank You 😊
Thank you so much 😀
Nope, Ricky Martin wouldn’t join Menudo for another year after the ABC shorts.
Ricky Melendez was the Ricky in this one, and is the member Ricky Martin took the place of. Interestingly enough, this video aired on Ricky Martin's 12th birthday.
Nov 2 2023! Getting my Gen X Christmas 🎄 on!!
Love it and brings tons of great memories back. Love that I can watch them here, thanks thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it
That was a special year and everyone was asking Santa for RETURN OF THE JEDI TOYS
I wanted Masters Of The Universe, but you are correct
I was looking forward to watch Scooby - doo but these are great thanks

Oh my !! So many memories- thanks for these videos!

Thanks this brings back great memories of my childhood on Saturday mornings
Glad you enjoyed it
Yeah this was a good Christmas eve.
yes it was...magical for me
1:33:17 - Bonus song from Menudo! They sang the theme song for "Rubik, the Amazing Cube"!
Considering I was eight days old I remember this vividly just kidding
lol
The 1994 movie "Baby's Day Out" must have been inspired by this "Little Rascals" episode.
If I remember right this was Saturday Christmas Eve. Christmas fell on a Sunday that year..
I was 2 years old when this cartoon block originally aired on WJLA here in the DC area. It brings back a lot of good memories. Keep it coming.
every Saturday Chris, sub if you havent.
Stinks that Scooby-Doo can't be included, but so many awesome episodes (first saw Monchichis on Saturday Morning Cartoons DVD.)
I watched the whole video. Enjoyable! Thanks!
Awesome, thank you!
That ATARI commercial right at the start, that was nostalgic. I had an ATARI since 1981 and throughout 1982 some of the games came with a card you signed and sent away for a limited edition ATARI Force (A.T.A.R.I. stood for Advanced Technology And Research Institute) comic book. Then in 1983, Dec 31st to be exact, DC Comics released issue 1 in a 20 issue Limited Series of ATARI Force comics as a sequel set 25 years later. I still have every issue of both series. They're not worth anything, just nostalgic value. I also have an ATARI Flashback, has all the games I played as a kid.
I also just started taking drum lessons a few days before Dec. 23, 1983, I had to trade my 2 guitars (1981 Fender Strat & 1974 Les Paul) and gear for the drum lessons because I sucked at guitar and my dad had just bought Slayer's Show No Mercy, Dave Lombardo's double bass blew my 13 year old mind. March 23rd, 1984 I got my first drum kit as a 14th birdthday gift from my dad and grandparents, double bass Tama drums and Paiste cymbals just like Dave's kit. Yup, this video just flooded my skull with memories.
ATARI's Jungle Hunt and Kangaroo at 1hour 57min, I remember that commercial, I had to have Kangaroo because I was really good on the arcade version at the 7-11 by my school.
👍👍wow thank you
No problem 👍
Nostalgia high to the Nth degree!
1:10:23 Honestly one of my favorite moments in the entire show
lol
I probably watched this 40 years ago.
☺Mone Media, I was 8 months old as an Infant.😊
So was I!
Lmao!!! Was that an old school emergency broadcast ring during the little rascals. I haven't heard it years, so I can't remember.lol I didn't even notice it was going on until it stopped
Yes it was
2:30:51 -This was my birthplace & my hometown 🗽 where I was born on the month of May 26, 1983.☺
All those kids are in their 50's now makes you feel old huh?
I was nine at the time. Didn't realize that the video game crash was just starting.
2 days later in Madison Square Garden, Bob Backlund lost the World Wrestling Federation Championship to the Iron Sheik Khozrow Vaziri
I felt like a millionaire when I was gifted the Mcdonalds gift certificate book.
22:12 Corey Feldman in a McDonald's commercial
Even though I never got to see the Saturday morning lineup on December 24, 1983, I can confirm that some episodes in this compilation were not aired on that date. "The Little Rascals" cartoon that week was actually "Horse Sense", not "Tiny Terror" (the latter would be rebroadcast two weeks later, on January 7, 1984), and the Richie Rich cartoon episode that week was actually "Richie Hood". Plus the Richie Rich segments you posted were actually from Season 2 of "Richie Rich", originally aired two years before. And also, at that point in 1983, "The Monchhichis" aired after "The Little Rascals/Richie Rich", despite that the title of the show was "The Monchhichis/Little Rascals/Richie Rich Show". Trust me, I do vividly remember the Saturday morning lineup from that time, and I do know the episodes were aired in sequential order.
i guess I get an E for effort, happy holidays.
If you don't notice, this is shown beginning to end as it was aired on that day! Including the commercials!!! So you just might be wrong! This was the era of vhs or beta max for some. So if the tape was edited it was very easy to tell! This looks like it was recorded that day from the television and he is nice to put it out for us as is! I'm grateful for that!! Thanks so much by the way!!! I was 7 years when this aired and I was sitting there watching this in real time!!! Brought some tears to my eyes!! Thanks so much!!!!!
Man I can't stress how much I love this channel I would love to see some thundar episodes but the service u provide is impeccable as is merry Christmas and happy holidays 2 all s.m.cartoon heads
Unfortunately Thundarr is heavy copyrighted
@@MoneMedia I be knowing brother believe me I know u go ALL OUT for us ,thank u blessings and happy holidays ✨️ 🙏
Where do you get these recordings? I assume they are your own home vhs recordings. But the quality is absolutely astounding for a 40 year old VHS.
I was 3 months old at the time
Double feature at the movies in Pac Land Theatre:
"Pac T." and "Star Pak - The Wrath of Mezmaron"
Coming soon: "Revenge of the Pac" and "Packy and the Bandit".
LOL
lol
16:00 - OG Readmore was the original OG!
It's too bad that Scooby-Doo has strict copyright laws and unable to post the shows, no thanks to WB merging with HB to pass on their strict copyright rules.
LOL the Lotso Huggin bear commercial... that is fake made for Toy Story 3... NICE EASTER EGG!!
There was a REAL LOTS O PLUSH!?!?!?!?!?!?!? WTF!!!!!!!!! NIGHTMARE fuel!!!!!
I was a junior in high school.
how was it being a teen in 83?
It was great i often wonder what 83 would have felt like if id been in my say mid 20's. I dont think it would matter from 80 to 85 ,it had a very unique vibe that i miss to this day.@@MoneMedia
I might get heat for this, but I remember the Superman Hot coco.and it was not good😅
lol
I have to admit, as an adult these 80s cartoons arent as good as i remember them. But old pre late 60s disney cartoons still hold up
You have a great channel my friend. If you have the Bionic Six, Bionic Six, The karate kid, turbo teen, galtar and the Golden Lance, turbo teen, galtar and the Golden Lance and centurions.
