I love how they make these ultra dramatic and heavy songs but when you listen to the lyrics you realise they're just a bunch of nerds singing about their favourite video games

but they are not actively promoting overseas by choice. Most of their band's videos don't even have english subtitles. Japan has the second largest music market in the world. The domestic market is enough for them to make big money.
Their costume makes them looks like a real life Final Fantasy characters.

Not Really. There are a lot of great Japanese bands like (GALNERYUS)-(MAXIMUM THE HORMONE)-(LOVEBITES)-(BABYMETAL)-(BAND MAID). Unlucky morpheus is fucking amazing too. These Japanese bands are Something else. I actually know a few Japanese metal bands. Surely there are a lot of them that are amazing

@@andyy2857 I'm so sad that Japan's music scene is so closed off from the rest of the world. I think we may actually have Baby Metal to thank for opening that door up, too.
I enjoy Baby Metal, but they led to me to Band-Maid, who are just phenomenal, and I actually watched Chase Carneson react to DOLL$BOXX, which led me down the Fuki rabbit hole, and out from there. What a journey this has been, I'm like an ADD hamster going from one piece of food to another right now, but with Japanese metal, lol.

It's dangerous to spend a lot of money on advertising overseas where rock is not mainstream. Hip-hop now dominates most western countries.

I'm loving this mix of death metal and symphonic power metal . It's perfect!
It was already done before but it's very well done here.

To be specific, their genre is Melodic Speed Metal. its been done before. But since metal is not the biggest genre in Japan, this band is one of a kind.
I would probably say this every time they come out with new materials but this is the best I have ever heard them sound. Shiren is just awesome with both guitar and vocals, Fumiya is just a beast as usual, Jinya and Ogawa are just incredible, Jill and Fuki are both amazingly talented and beautiful. This band needs more recognition so don't spam reactors on youtube but do spread UM's name around so more eyeballs and ear drums can feast their eyes on this incredible band.
English Subtitles on Lyrics would help.
@@MrSeriyokuzenyo I never in my life sought out subtitles for songs cause I don't need to know what they are saying because music in itself communicates the feeling they intended. I listen to over 20 or 30 Japanese bands and never felt the need to know what they were saying. But I guess to each his own.

the red jacket remind me of Genesis from FF7 Crisis Core and 0:50 truly tells me that it's Edea from FF8.
But she looks nothing like Edea (or Adel, Ultimecia, or Rinoa) in any way. I think she's doing her own take on an original sorceress.

As a lover of goth/alternative fashion, I'm pretty confident in saying that most of their outfits in this video are Punk Rave/Devil Fashion and (probably) Dark in love, good quality brands with a vast variety of alternative fashion styles
also I'm kinda proud to say I have probably half of those in my closet as well which is why I recognized them very clearly

The song is so good, but I love to hear more again from Fuki, something will dollbox, if that is possible. The voice in newer morpheus songs, is pretty same, i like to see again voice range fuki can done with dollbox, for me, that dollbox 01 video, that is on youtube, is the best i've heard from fuki.

今回の曲、オープニングから部分的に妖精帝國っぽい感じのところがあって不思議な感覚でした。

That was great and even better that Fuki is not using soo much of her vibrato, it's great but when she uses too much get's a little bit weird. But the song is great especially when Jill started the violin lines
