Most of New Balance shoes are made in the USA , and they are one of the few brands that offer Wide shoes
yeah i have bought NB all my life because my toe box is beyond 4e wide, i wish more companies made extra wide shoes because that is the type of feet that most people have.

@@isaacfewMore companies used to offer wider skate shoes like DC for example but so many have stopped or gone out of business completely over the 30+ yrs I've skated.

How wide? I went shoeless for a few years in my 20s and it made my feet very very wide. I have to wear Crocs most of the time because I can’t find shoes that fit my feet anymore

I personally love my 306’s there are hella comfy and are wide enough for my feet, and they have are still going strong after 5-6 months of skating them.
New Balance shoes were always old folks jogging suit shoes. You would get beat up for wearing them and someone would throw them in a tree or over a power line. Even years later, no one can convince me to try a pair.

Upgrade game of skate when one person sets a trick the defender get to ether try the upgrade version or the original if the land the original it the same as a normal game of skate but if the land the upgraded version then the person who set the original trick has to try it and if they fail they get a letter and the guy defending gets to set a trick but if the guy defending fails the upgraded trick he get 1 letter and the person who set gets to go again

personally I have a pair of regular (not the numeric) new balance 480s and I love skating them the cushion in the insole is nice, you get a heavy feel from the outsole, and I like the durability you get from the leather. I would rate the regular 480s a solid 8/10 and I want to try the numeric 480 so badly!

Just got back into skating about 5 months ago, when I heard NB made skate shoes AND Reynolds was riding for them and not Emerica any longer... I shed a tear. At least we still got Leo and Spanky. 🤷Emerica for life for me.

personally i have the NB 1010 Tiago and they are the best shoes in this entire world. idk if there's a big difference with the 480.
I liked new balance. They felt extra small though and like bowling shoes. I havnt skated these yet and they look about as more skating and less bowling as they come! lol

When I try to nollie it feels easier to Ollie isn't that weird it's like I put a different perspective in my mind and shift direction of my eyes and it feels easier to Ollie by nolling
I hope this gets seen… the brail team needs them basket ball shoes that got banned because they make you jump higher! How many double and triple flips hit when you can jump further or higher!

Skate shoes should not be slippery tho, my shoes have so much grip I dislocated my knee cap twice on coated floors at work, still love them to death. Been wearing DC Shoes Court graffik for about 15 years now and will probably be wearing them as long as they're available.
meh.. I got to stick with my NB 990 series since they are made in USA. The 480's are slippery on the bottom because they still have release agent on them from the forming machine. Always wipe the bottoms down with a little alcohol to get them to stick to the board better.
I tried these on I don't know why every shoe manufacturer has to put a big bulging Arch in their shoes
