I think there's a special irony to pundits whining about how Arsenal celebrate, imagine what Chelsea or Manchester United would give to build a club mentality where their club captain has the passion and the connection to everything the club is to run to the team photographer and make them feel special after a significant win. Arteta wanted to connect people, and he's done that, it's special and good, so of course the British press are against it.
@@FootballTransfersDailycouldn’t describe it any better
The guys been at the club decades and it was a nice interaction. The culture at the club seem incredible yet other fans focus more on us having a dog at the training ground than us being the best off the ball team in the league
@@ACE360x Other clubs focus on winning trophies, not holding an open top bus parade for being the best off the ball team in the league
Only at Arsenal.
Excuses FC Since 2004
@@user-im3ud6mv6wu missed the entire point on the video. And he literally said other fans focus on us like that. So ur literally proving his point. No one's demanding an open bus parade for being the best off the ball team
@@samirkesler8095 No real match going fan cares what u plastics think because you're irrelevant
"Liverpool being awful suggests that there's credit due elsewhere "....
But the sky pundits chose to focus on celebrations😂
Arteta was still a player 7 years ago and is now competing and lately dominating the 2 best managers in the world in the games vs them. I have 0 doubt we are about to see an era of domination with Arteta in charge.
Kiwior deserves a shout after sunday, technique and physicality combined, very impressed and no longer worried if Gabriel were to miss a game or two!
He is a good cb even against Brighton last season he played well just that one instant he got stepped on and went down
Kiwi will come good for us
Young and has improved quickly, in the same way tomi did
@@04foreverinvincible69 Kiwior's a good CB because in 12 months "he played well against Brighton"
Arteta tried to invert him and that didn't work. Their certain players you just have to let them be.
This analysis is breathtaking you deserve so much more recognition
Others cannot celebrate like we do because no other club is as lively and emotional connected as us. Utd and Chelsea are almost emotionally dead clubs.
Liverpool has alot of positivity as a club and its culture under Klopp but their era is about to end sadly and City are obviously enjoying their glory days but their club feels soulless and all about money.
Arteta has transformed the energy at Arsenal, him being a former player under Wenger he has maintained the philosophy and culture and introduced the ruthless and elite club mentality that is required to win big trophies which we lacked. Arsenal are not just all good egg anymore. That excitement of watching the team evolve into a level that it never reached before is very exciting.
never reached before???????? what?
@@5686darrylhonestly, this squad did better than invincibles last season. We just didn't recognize that if we compare by stats but this league is way tougher than the way it was 20yrs ago.
They don't celebrate like we do because they are ashamed of their Teams, coaches, and players.
But we're not, we are proud of our team, our Manager super Mikel Arteta, our players, our staff, our club.
We are the Arsenal the pride of London. London is Red ♥️♥️♥️❤❤❤

Getting a message out like this to the normies is so critical. Keep it up bossman

Great analysis.
This is the analysis that James B and Graham at another well-known Arsenal fan channel imagine they're delivering, but this summary here is far more astute and profound despite being presented in a more concise form. Outstanding.
I think the celebration police aspect has a secondary cause. It is a hangover from the banter era of Arsenal. During this time, reactionary content and hot-takes grew online, things like AFTV were getting views and interactions that these companies could only dream of. So they decided to change their model. Big contracts to sign up big names who may not have the tactical knowledge to be useful but are big enough to have hot takes and go viral, basically everyone tried to become TalkSport. And what fanbase was/is the most active online during a hard time for the club? Arsenal. We were a money and interaction printing machine. So naturally, these media firms pivoted hard towards farming those interactions.
Now we are objectively good again, they have nothing to rant about footballing wise and even less tactical insight to offer, so they need to find a way to get those interactions up again. Hence, the celebration police. It's fear at their own inadequacies and a need to justify/use the models that they have spent so much money creating. All while losing eyes to genuinely good analysis elsewhere.
Just my thoughts, but I've had them for a while, and each time I watch the game on mute, I realise it more and more.
Now we are objectively good again in going from winning nothing to winning more nothing after spending 700m quid so the pundits have nothing to rant about because sadly we're not good enough to prove them wrong and the only excuse we have left is it's Mikels first job in charge so he needs more time and money for his 'process' that's due to be completed in March 2044
Definitely need Zubimendi and an upgrade on Nketiah in the summer. Aside from that it’s hard to say what else needs to be added. Push R. Walters and Nwaneri or patino.
I mean also saka do need competition the guy must be knackered
There's just something special about the Arsenal, that is why I decided to support them beginning of this season.
(From a girl with 0 ball knowledge, 6 months ago.) Ong I am dying an Arsenal fan.
Surprisingly, the Arteta quite at 1:12 really resonates with why Brighton often struggle so or are inconsistent in the Premier League. They generate so much control through intricate passing but ultimately lack the physicality that Arteta stresses is important and the individual quality that makes Pep even more successfully. Brighton will pass around all day but the moment they are robbed of possession, it's just downhill from there.
My new favorite video of yours
Appreciate it

Arteta ain't going anywhere I think fans forgot where we were 10 years ago
Sacking our most iconic manager for getting top 4 and winning fa-cups?
Has Arteta done better?
We WERE just top 4 with Wenger, love the man unapologetically but Wengers style of football would suffer heavily in this current era.

that zones of control sums up how arsenal play, similar to city, whether it's control or dominance, data says it all, and im not mad about it as long as arsenal win games

Yo you need more flowers man! Such an academic breakdown! Well done! Some would say dominant!
I love your channel. Your perspectives are always measured and well thought out at the very least. Keep up the good work.
Excellent video. Love your content.
Keep beating the "MA is a novice manager" drum because I forget this myself. And you framed it perfectly, he's matching Pep and Klopp.
He's matching Pep and Klopp by winning nothing for 4 years on the bounce

Well said
I fucking love this club 🥺💜
What a great video mate! What a great video. The Arteta hate is palpable. He's in his first managerial job and about to outdo two stalwarts of the game. They hate that we're no longer the banter club and that our fanbase is believing again.
Good analysis, though I'd have liked to see you walk through every phase of the opening goal. you missed the middle bit which had some good stuff.
Once Zinchenko receives the ball he COULD have gone wide, but he sees Ødegaard yelling for it in the center, wide open. During this, Havertz had already vacated his midfield spot (which dragged Gakpo away from Zinchenko in the first place) and pushed upfield into the gap between Konate and vvd
TAA is gone, Gomez is worried with Saka, Konate and VVD are both trapped in no man's land and Ødegaard plays Kai in with a single touch. It's the perfect blueprint to counter the liverpool press
Great content mate. Well done 👍
Thank you!
Great analysis as always 👏
50 shades of Mikel
Bro you're an actual gold
Man City also getting taller players to dominate aerial duels with the exception of Doku. They don't have African and Asian players to avoid missing them during afcon.
I have a sneaky feeling Xabi will join the Arteta vs Pep era next season
1 domestic cup Arteta Vs 5 x EPL, UCL and treble winner Pep
Only at Arsenal...
When Klopp leaves it will only be a Pep era there's no Arteta in the equation. How the hell you compare Arteta to Pep and/or Klopp
Pretty sure he was talking about competition not trophies@@zaidzitouni2752
@@zaidzitouni2752 He didn’t compare their status as managers, he just compared the levels they’re currently competing at. Since the start of last season, in the premier league, it’s no longer been about City, Liverpool and then the rest. Arsenal are up there now and probably there to stay. That’s all he’s saying.
EPL is not bundesliga mate, he better stay there😂😂
Small worry I had againgst Liverpool were actually the subs, or a particular sub. I understand Zinni for Kiwior as I assume it was more about physicality, but the Trossard for Martinelli confused me. Hear me out - I think the Trossard signing worked as it did because of Konate's red leaving Gomez to tuck in and the left more exposed. I felt at that moment, Havertz shouldve been taken off (that being said he got Konate sent off so what do I know but that was a moment that cannot be predicted) so with Leandro and the goal up, we could prioritize long shots through the middle to give Allison more constant pressure.
We trust the process!
we often dominate Liverpool - then Jota pops up and does us this time he never. I think we did play them at a good time - but we did what we have to do when we had to do it. PLEASE let them talk about our celebrations, lets not have people focusing on what we do on the pitch, pressure off us, underdogs, write us off, ill take that from pundits all day than building us up for a fall. Also - ESR will be our new hardman breaking up play and providing last 20mins security soon!
Brilliant, dominating video😂
To be fair (and this is coming from a Spurs fan), I think Arteta's celebrations and arrogance is totally justified. The guy got a lot of abuse season after season when he was building this team and that would have been a hell of a lot of pressure. The Arsenal board stuck with him though and that's rare nowadays. When Wenger built his invincibles this kind of short turnaround for managers didn't exist so there was less pressure and he had time. Managers now have to operate under much harsher circumstances. Turns out Arteta knew what he was doing all along. So in my opinion, his attitude now is fair enough.
AYOOOOOOO the thumbnail
We need major trophies....then we'll be dominating
I enjoyed this break down
Stop you from building? Stopped
Play through you moving it quickly? Not possible too
End result: Liverpool is awful 😊
"It's a better advantage for Man City than for Arsenal" lol

You sound like a football professor. I think you'd make a great football manager tbh
Very kind!
No one talking about Zinchenko. In this particular match did anyone notice Zinny stay inside our half most of the time, he didnt play central or go high up on the pitch like he used to do. Another tactical changed by Arteta.
Great insight 👍

Always became an issues once Arsenal starts doing it. They literarily made a rule because Arteta doing it while Pep and Klopp did it for years no problem. Imma bet theres a rule against dominance soon in PL.
Nice chain. Which costume shop did you get it in?
That's a nice thing to say to someone you don't know! :)
my manager
The point about physical prowess compared to City I disagree with. The city team is bigger than Arsenal's. They continues to play four centre backs, sometime five when Stones play in midfield. Rodri and Haaland are huge, and De Bruyne is a tall physical player as well.
Impressive analysis. The comparison of using Mbappe, Ronaldo and Messi is top draw.
Can you tell me where you got those xG stats? Because the stats I saw suggested that our xG is way lower than that
He's usually pulling from Opta but honestly everyone has a different formula for xG it wouldn't surprise me that you see difference numbers
What does xNT mean?
Dominant analysis 😂, well done 👍
and his love of duels 3:28 😂
When the celebration police comes out, it means we are doing an excellent thing. Because whenever we are doing an excellent thing, many dont like it
The fact that Arteta has a team according to every rival fan with ZERO world class players second year in the year near the top of the table is a testament to his good work. Almost there,
it took pep 7 years with city didn’t win any with Bayern . To win the champions league says it all these things take time.
Almost there??? - You're still 7 players short of a team good enough to challenge for the Carabao Cup or get past the 3rd round of the FA Cup loooooooooool
I am so done with Sky Sports pundits, who at every turn seem to put Arsenal down. If you want a fair and unbiased opinion, look elsewhere.
I would disagree regarding Arteta’s hit rate with signings. I assume like most people you’re including all signings since his arrival at the club? I feel this is unfair as initially he was hired as head coach and we’ve learned previously that whilst Raul was at the club Arteta was limited in who he was allowed to bring in.
celebration police!! 😁😁😁😁
What does sequence time mean please?
How long you hold onto the ball essentially.

Liverpool were not even that that awful. Yes they made mistakes but most decisions that they took like Van Dijk dropping in on that first goal in most similar scenarios is the correct decision but we were just top notch that game and no pundit right now will ever give us our flowers

Kiwior would be perfect in three back system like 3-2-4-1 with rice n Alex's in double pivot and at the back would be Gabi, kiwior n saliba....
Arteta clearly doesn't like this nor he would be happy with anyone other than Saliva or white as the middle cb.

I slightly disagree with your comparison with Pep’s team. Pep loves to dominate teams, he has physically imposing players from the half way line backwards and I have heard him talking about winning all the balls. 1st, 2nd and nth ball always

More than pundits - fellow fans are more dangerous and annoying. Those who can not understand simple maths of that there are always more than 1 team which deserves the highest honors of the season. And if the title or a cup didn't go certain team's way, doesn't mean they did anything wrong. It is impossible to win every single game (cause Brentford's undrawn line, Castle's and Ham's unseen lines, Villa's unseen pens) but this exactly what is required to grab the title. Also previous seasons' squad lists show you that the team was clearly ahead of it's schedule for season or two.
De zerby ran around the pitch celebrating but no one complained I thought I was getting into a nice video but you saying arsenal overcelebrated made the video introduction boring
