How to: 2018 Honda Grom Fork Seal Replacement Walk Through

- Replacing fork seals are not a massive job, but do take some knowledge.
When a buddy told me he wasn't confident doing his, even after watching several other videos, he asked me to do his AND film it so he knew how to for next time.
Using the service manual, I walk through the steps and share some tips to help you change your fork seals too! This applies to 2015-2018 (maybe newer) Honda Grom MSX125.
Important to note!! You do NOT need to disassemble the lower fork tube/lug if you are just replacing the seals. I will not cover complete rebuilding.

I did not include it in the video, it was a broken bushing that was causing it to seize up.

More than likely, yes. It'd be speculation on the cause. But I can say it didn't happen from regular use 🙃

What was causing the other fork to bind up?
It was actually a broken bushing. It may have broken when the bike was crashed. I guess I should have included a clip of that in the video. Sorry about that 😕
