I know we’re here for Joe Burrow. He played 40 mins east of Jackson, where I live. I played against Athens all four years of my high school days. Great games between the Ironmen and Bulldogs. My senior year against them was the Mud-bowl. Burrow was still in elementary school. Athens eventually dropped a division lower and went to a different conference. Joe Burrow is a Southeastern Ohio hero! But I just want to say, Marty Smith is the best and most versatile sports caster in my opinion.

As a Buckeye, I can vouch for millions of our fans that WE NOT ONLY WANTED JOE to see the field, many of us wanted him as our starter in 2016 and 2017. The ONLY REASON HE WASN'T => Urban Meyer had ZERO understanding/knowledge => of how to utilize an accurate Pro-Style QB in the spread Offense.
Leyer, who is a great recruiter, has played the WRONG QB the entire time he's been coach at OSU except for the wonderful games where his QB of choice couldn't take the field......We won a NATTY in 2014 in spite of UM !!!

Seriously......Didn't you see any film on JT Barrett ? Haskins was a Red Shirt Freshman in 2016 and wasn't going to play unless JT and Joe both were injured. If Burrow STARTS...and he should have.....do you see OSU doing worse or better than 11 - 2 ? You don't even have to trust me…..just ask yourself would OSU have done WORSE or BETTER than 0 - 31 vs Clemson with Joe Burrow ? LOL. If Joe wins either or both of those games....he starts again in 2017 and then turns PRO......and we have what we have right now....well, that and quite possibly 1 or 2 more NATTY's.
Hey Justin...….didn't you watch LSU beat 2 top 10 teams already this season ? We struggled vs Oregon State and TCU. Don't get me wrong. I love our team. And think Haskins should have started all year LAST year (with Burrow not playing in 2016 and getting hurt in 2017, Haskins needed to START)…..but saying Joe couldn't compete is a FLAT OUT LIE. It's like saying Cardale couldn't compete with JT....just another lie ! So J Dub => I ask you....Seriously ? Joe's already BEAT more top 10 teams than we're going to face in the regular season. I played QB in college at a big school, got sick of the college game when I was done playing. Baker Mayfield brought me back and Joe Burrow made me stay. Mark my words it is November 1, 2018 today, he will be an NFL success regardless of where he is drafted (which should be higher than this Oregon Shmoe) but NFL gms draft on bullshit, not what makes a qb, not what you are brought up learning will make you a successful qb. Here is another call, Jameis Winston will either switch positions or be out of NFL in 2 years. I've been right about this 11 other times.

Compared To every other LSU QB he’s been great... maybe not for other school. But we haven’t seen our school throw over 30 times since last year vs Troy...
