I am fairly new at collecting coins. I actually got into it by helping my husband sort through some coins for him for his hobby. I actually have several "ugly" coins, including quarters , that look exactly like the 1966 quarter you show here. Who would have thought?!?!?!?!?

I have a 1998 blackened Washington quarter that looks like George has been through a civil war.
The L in LIBERTY is off line.
The B looks like the number 8.
The top of the E is missing.
The R looks like an upside down v.
The Y looks like an I
It is one of my favorite coins.
You would have to see it to appreciate it
I have black looking 1999 and 2001 … Talking to my mother other day told me they were possibly SILVER.. Said dip them in AMMONIA would you do that to them??

I would have passed that up. I’m just not good at spotting DDO’s or DDR’s unless they’re as obvious as the 55, 72, Lincoln’s etc. That coin is just not obvious enough for me! Your trained eye shouldn’t be sold short sir! But that’s way cool for those of you that can see that!!!!

I’m in NJ I have a 1966 with raised letter “T’s” on the back where it says United States of America. However every coin shop/collector I call around NJ and PA they say they’ve never heard of this and they say it’s an Internet gimmick. Is there anyway you can help me out and point me in the right direction of where I could sell it fast in NJ

If it checks out I will share the info. Mine is in alot better shape then the one shown I think any way and it has a thick left Eagle leg as well.
It came out of a soda/food machine in my apt. building. I also got some amazing dimes as well with errors. All we can do is try right? My 1st quarter came back a 69 grade, can't remeber what else was listed. I can only guess that my 1966 quarter could maybe make a 67 or 68 grade but who knows, we'll see.
I just got 12 UNC state quarters in the mail yesterday. A set of them UNC with a folder is yet to come in the mail. I entered a give away, to try for 12 Trump silver coins with a Bullion company, again you can't 'win' if you don't try right?

Another double ear variety cool! I did got rid of a bunch of my 2015 D"s yesterday! You know what its ok because I still have a bunch to search! I have coins every where, thanks for sharing! I found some 2018 and 2019 D double ears yesterday! I was going through my change!! Do you you think 2017 D have a double ear, I think I might seen one with a double ear not sure!! Thank You for another Awesome video.....and if you ever have enough time....PLEASE do a video to give more info on the 2019 Lowell Quarter with errors......I have found some and have looked for and have found very little information about it....just the one error in the Bell Tower and I have found that one and a few different ones.....and why does it seem like a cud error is not worth as much as a die crack or like the Speared Buffalo Error compared to the Arizona cud at bottom of Cactus?
I've got so much change to go through the thought of it is daunting....

Hello. I came across this video just recently. I started collecting coins a while back. The double dip guys have been a harder one for me too get the hang of, however I think I have a grasp on it and I believe I have two of these coins. I looked them up on variety Vista and mine seem to match. Even with the right wing having the extra line. I could really use your help in determining if I'm incorrect. If you could please get back to me when you can. I could send you some photos of what I have. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also the two that I have are in much better condition than these

I'm still confused by what double die is.
I have some coins from the 60s and 70s that look like some of the letters are a little more rasied up while others the letters are flat. I'm planning on exchanging my coins soon for cash but I don't want to put any rare ones thru the sorting machine

I agree with the frist lady that spoke about there coins or better pr seems to have different mark than marks on urs or mine i have a set of quarters fro. 1940--41 to 2020 i cant seem to get nothing for them but low ball i also have a 1943 wheat penny i got out of a coin roll 21years ago i have been told by most every coin dealer out there it is counterfeit I found out a ouple days that in 2010 this same coin sold for 2hundard2 thousand dollars if someone wants to buy it it if for sale but it won't be cheap now i want to see who really wants one its in great condition my email is watwoodjerry89@gmail.con it is rawl sorry for useing up ur time i have bout any kind of coin a person could want if i can help u in any way let me know thanks
So I save every quarter I find from the 60's, I separated them and to my delight, 7.50$ in 1966, on quarter 3.50$ I think I got it!!! :)

I found a 1966 quarter that weigh 4.74 gram's. I been looking in the net to see if there are others and had not found any.
I started collecting 1966 quarters about three years ago, when they said a 1966 quarters in any condition could be valuable, because of known double dies. apparently, that's true.

Thanks for making this video, I actually found a 66 in about this condition. I’m new to numismatics and these videos are very helpful. I also came across a very rough 1909 VDB, it’s legible but very rough. I guess this 66 is going to have some company on it’s ride to pcgs. Thanks again!
ive checked in a lot places but cant find anything about it but i found a 1979 quarter no mint mark, DD , that weighs 5.26 grams, can you help me out?
I have this 1967 quarter with very visible errors on it . I took it to my local coin dealer shop to ask if they could tell me anything about it. All he said was he would give me 10$ for it. I explained I didn't want to let it go just wanted to fund out more about it and he told me it may be worth 3$ ... so why did he offer me 10$🤔 I've been looking at videos for over a year now and still have not found one like it.. I've asked so many coin collectors on CZcams but no one ever responds. I don't no how to send I picture on here to get any opinions. But I honestly think the guy here was just trying to rip me off. But I could be wrong. I've got coins back from the 1800s .

And I have a few other things that are very interesting 1919 strike over that someone has said it was nothing and he was supposed to be a top error guy and I was like dude if are who you say are and you can’t tell why you say what he said then you’re not who you say you are . you have to have a eye about details and I do have that kind of eye do seeing patterns I can see part of the words and leafs on the coin.and I have some newer quarter dollar that are pretty cool as well

My 1966 Washington Quarter Dollar has a spot beside the tail feathers that looks like another tail feather, so if it is another tail feather that makes 8 tail feathers my coin has!!!
