This is Part 3 of my first Video Series on how to make a simple Japanese Style lantern made of concrete with LED light.
Tachidōrō (立ち灯籠), or pedestal lantern is the most common where the base is always present and the fire box is decorated with carvings of deer or peonies.
In this project, the design of the cover (umbrella) and the fire box (light housing) are simplified to accommodate an LED bulb.
In making this lantern, basic materials are used and no sophisticated tools.
