I love Robbie, but you can NOT have Fowler ahead of Kevin Keegan. He was a superstar! our best player in our successful early to late 70s team.
Robbie was a natural gift but not as good player as Barnes
Kevin was a European titan at one point with his Ballon d'Or accolade. Ain't no way they think Fowler is greater 😂
I grew up with Steven Gerrard as Liverpool’s captain, he’ll always be my favourite Liverpool player.
‘Fowler had a knack of SNIFFING out chances’ cheeky😂😂
Souness in his prime was terrifying with that perm/moustache combination
That was almost like the uniform back then.🙂 Terry Mac, Phil Thompson, Alan Kennedy and a few others also sported that look.
I reckon this list needs to be divided into decades rather then all time. I mean Kevin Keegan didn’t even make the list WTF!!!
Keegan should have been included
mizofan no
Should have do a 10 players
Just shows how great Liverpool are. Had many amazing players
LVFT the twice Balon D’Or... blasphemous.
Here come the younger gen, saying how they would pick Gerrard over Dalglish. You never watched Dalglish play so you're not in the best position to judge fairly
Siddy Fisher He was known on fantasy football as the "creator supreme".
Siddy Fisher disagree, take dalglish out that Liverpool side they still would have succeeded, take Gerrard out the Liverpool teams he was in they’d have finished outside the top four many times and could have even slipped to a mid table side
is funny cause non of these players would get into barca madrid xi
El Chapito name the 11 and I’ll prove you wrong
Cameron Connor which team
"Sniffing out chances" I see what you did there HITC Sevens
Make this a top 10
Add :
Ray Clemence
Kevin Keegan
Steve Heighway
Ian St John too.
3 scots in this. I wish we could have one player just now with even half the ability of some of these legends 😭
Andy robertson?
@@yaseenpatel9129 andy robbooo
Virgil Van Dijk?
Robbo
@@jacobforsberg8087 when did van dijk become a scot ?
no Kevin Keegan, only a honorable mention, come on, and what about Phil Neal and Avi Cohen as honorable mentions?
What about Mark Lawrenson, sheer class.
Agree. I would put Kevin Keegan in 3rd spot only after King Kenny and Steven Gerrard - see my post above. I think his influence on the Liverpool team of the early to mid 1970s was enormous - and outside the game, too - witness his performances for Liverpool in thev1974 FA Cup Final versus Newcastle when he scored two goals - or his stellar performance versus Borussia Monchengladbach in the 1977 European Cup Final. He wasn't bad for England, either !😉😂😃
Phil Thompson, roger hunt , Ian Callaghan, Kevin keegan???
@@smokinjoe8909 needs to be a top 20 not top 6. I would consider these players except Phil Thompson he wouldn't make the list.
Don't take the piss mate Phil Neal won 4 European cups
An excellent list and, having had the pleasure of seeing him play many times, I have no doubt whatsoever Daglish deserves the number 1 position. He was an extraordinary talent.
In terms of footballing skill alone Suarez should be in the top two, but I understand he isn't considered a 'great' as he wasn't at the club for very long, he wanted to leave and he didn't win anything - although, mainly thanks to him, we did almost win the league. Some are saying Mo Salah should be in the top 7 - hopefully in a few years time he will be!
Hope Ali, Fab, Bobby, Salah, Virgil, Sadio, Robbo and Trent make it in the future.
they 100% will. they’ve already established themselves as legends, and trent is only 23 🤩.
Shocking list where is Mario Balotelli 🤷🏻♂️
Mabuku Sitali n Rickie lambert
Mabuku Sitali what about borini
Benteke?
Mabuku Sitali Or Bogdan
Ibe should at LEAST get a shout
I wouldn't put Barnes as number 7. I'd put him in the first two. That's how good he was.
W Leon I know this list is a popularity contest
First two my ass. Above gerrard and dalglish?
Top 3 for sure
I would put Barnes 3rd only Daglish and Stevie G above him because Barnes was only in his prime from 87 to 91 that's only 4 years.
No way, I have to disagree.
I am not a Liverpool Fan, but I think Sir King Kenny is an amazing football man. And an amazing man
At last you made it!!
Torres and Gerrard, no way they're missing
klose king Torres ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
klose king Gerrard is at number 2 you stupid mong
Dalgish played perfect foil for rush. Now at lfc mane and sala has firmino through center and Robertson and Trent down either flanks. Hope they remain together for many many years. This was the season that we found this and imagine another 6 years of continuing this service. Lookin forward.
Billy Liddle
Keegan should've been in the top 7 imo
King kenny's influence is so great at our club not only as a player but manager our last trophy n league under his management tenure
No Kevin Keegan? The Liverpool success story started with his arrival at Anfield. Why did Bill Shankly buy him? Shankly knew talent when he saw one. He came from Scunthorpe United, a team languishing in the bottom division of English football. When he left for SV Hamburg in 1977, he had virtually won every honour on offer. By the way, I am a Man. United fan. I can't understand why everyone associated with Liverpool FC treats Keegan so shabbily. Keegan was also an influential player for England.
I agree, Keegan was a great. Really the superstar British footballer of the seventies.
The Liverpool success story started with his arrival at Anfield. You are 100% correct.
1963-64 and 1965-65 Division 1 wins happened before Keegan, but Shankley kept that squad together to long. Keegan signed 1971-72 season winning 1972-73 Division 1 and UEFA cup in the same season as his first trophies with Liverpool.
Idk about the others but as a 90s kid Stevie was my fav captain. Legend ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Can we get an updated version
When talking about Liverpool, beside Dalglish and Rush, I always remember the one and only Bruce Grobbelaar, their eccentric goalkeeper : his blunders as well as his heroic saves.
Perhaps, Liverpool fans tend to always remember his blunders, that's why he is not mentioned here.
And possibly because he was not as good as Ray Clemence who should have been on the list.
Im not a liverpool fan but dalglish gerrard souness and rush wud get in every liverpool team in any era or decade. 4 world class players.
Are you ever going to bring this series back @HITC Sevens?
My top 10 Everton footballers of all time :-
1. Dixie Dean
2. Alan Ball
3. Alex Young
4. Peter Reid
5. Ray Wilson
6. Neville Southall
7. Joe Title
8. Can't remember his name - played in the 1970 Championship side and later managed Everton three times
9. Colin Harvey
10. Duncan Ferguson
Honourable mentions for Gary Stevens, Trevor Steven, Brian Labone, Mike Trebilcock, Mike Three Penises, Andy Gray, Gary Lineker, Tommy Wright, Bob Latchford, Billy Bingham and Wayne Rooney.
Perfectly said about Steven Gerard. He constantly dragged the team out of the Abyss. Like that ninja movie final battle when you think the underdog is done for but then booyah. Switch it around and turn the game around. Ask AC Milan and Paolo Maldini about writing off Gerard.
Is that Eric Idle being taken on by Hansen at 1:58?
Kevin Keegan was Liverpool's greatest player. I think it's been forgotten how good he was. And when he left Liverpool he went on to be a mega-star on the continent too. None of the others on the list managed that.
Your so right he made pele 100 greatest list, which says something about his ability.
And Dalglish came in and was twice the player Keegan could even be. Keegan doesn't make the list as Dalglish was a better player in every department. It's not even a close contest.
There are a lot of names that didn’t make the list, but it’s an incredibly difficult list to make
In my opinion Gerrard should be no. 1 . I know Dalglish is a legend, but for me, Gerrard is the greatest player to step on anfield
raghav taneja u probably weren’t old enough to watch kenny dalglish though, so your only basing it off what you’ve seen
It's kenny judging by the criteria there's no competition he did far more than Gerrard in that respect
Young fan here, Gerrard is overrated. He's only one of the greatest legends because of his longevity at the club. Sure he was a fantastic player, but if I had to make an all-time XI i'd bench Gerrard behind Souness in midfield.
If we go by Gerrard's quality he's one of the 20 best Liverpool players ever, but certainly not top 10. I'd put him in my top 7 purely because he was captain for so long and carried the club for years.
raghav taneja you stupid king kenny will always be number 1 with all the respect to stevie g
Karim Camel don't call me stupid man. Everyone is entitled to their opinions.
Can you please do seven of the greatest England players of all time.
Can you do top 7 CURRENT players for each club once you're done with this series
For me was my favorit Kevin Keegan and don't forget Ray Clemens was also a great goal keeper. The 70th was another time not only for football also music and many others. Am proud about this time.😊😉😁
People here, including you totally forgot Bruce Grobbelaar in honorable mentions. He made blunders at times, but about 12 seasons with the Red is outstanding.
And Phil Neal, their full-back for 11 seasons, who was very often capped for England.
Good shout
Ian St John?
And Phil Neal is one of only two British players to have won the European Cup/Champions League four times (with dickwad Bale).
Keegan should be No.1. He raised them to the top level between 1971-1977.
5:14 had me dead 😂😂😂🤣😂😅
Phil Thompson should be an honourable mention. He was an outstanding defender who won lots of trophies and was a great captain.
Although I never seen him play only watched video clips of him. I would definitely have Tommy Smith
Did you forget Andriy Voronin in the honourable mentions? But seriously Ian St John is so underrated
Robbie was my favourite he also supported rangers and was suppose to have played with a rangers top under his Liverpool top.
best squad of decades : 70s : Clemence - Neal - Jones - Thompson P - R Kennedy - Hughes - Keegan - Case - Heighway - Toshack - Callaghan
80s : Grobbellar - Nicol - Ablett - Lawrenson - Whelan - Hansen - Beardsley - Houghton - Rush - Barnes - MvMahon
90s: none (the dark years)
Now ..the number one of all time
No Ablet your joking 🙃
1:28 see what you did there lol
Dalglish, Gerrard, Keegan, Rush, Owen, Hunt and Clemence.
Kevin kegan should definately be in it.
Wow!
Do chelsea next
Hello! If I may ask, why top 7 & not top 10?
Hi Lenard, simply because I thought it was a bit different. When my boss asked me to set up a YT channel, he suggested 'HITC Fives', I thought sevens gave me more scope & was a bit quirkier.
It needs to be a top 20
do Celtic next
give me a shout out aswell
Robbie Fowler scored in 2 finals, not 1, in 2001 league cup final and 2001 UEFA cup final
I still think Barnes was a product of Watford City which made him called for England at WC 1986.
John Barnes yeahhh
My top 10 Liverpool players of all time :-
1. Kenny Dalglish
2. Steven Gerrard
3. Kevin Keegan
4. Billy Liddell
5. Ray Clemence
6. Ian Callaghan
7.Mo Salah
8.Graeme Souness
9. Ian Rush
10. Phil Neal
Honourable mentions for Emlyn Hughes, Ian St. John, John Toshack, Ian Callaghan, Ron Yeats, Alan Hansen, Tommy Smith, Jimmy Nichol, Bruce Grobelaar, Ray Hoghton, Ray
(?) he played in the late 1970s - signed from Arsenal, Terry McDermott, Roger Hunt, Joey Jones, Alan ( ?) - scored the winner versus Real Madrid 1981 European Cup Final, Phil Boersma, Avi Cohen, Robbie Fowler, John Barnes, Larry Lloyd.
And Virgil van Dyke, Jordan Henderson and John Barnes and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Jimmy nicol ?
You can't pick a top ten and leave out John Barnes. How is that even possible! Barnes in his prime was top 3 greatest Liverpool players of all time
1. Graeme Souness
2. Alan Hansen
3. Ian Rush
4. Kenny Dalglish
5. Kevin Keegan
6. Steven Gerrard
7. John Barnes

Logia Theories lmao what a joke of a list
GERRARD BETTER BE FIRST YA DIPSTICK
You got it wrong again (I know you love United) Liverpool is the most successful English club of all time in total trophies, not second.
They were officially second at the time this video was recorded
The king 🤴
This is my list.

0:49
gerrard. what a legend with slipped and kicking the title to others. 😂😂
who else got this recommended to them in February 2021?
How the hell is Kevin Keegan not in this!!!!
I think his legacy is hurt a bit by leaving the club whilst still young on his own accordance. Nobody else left like this between the golden years of success at home and Eurppe from 74 to 85( Heysel ban). Souness left in his 30s whilst Rush left to play in the European cup and came back soon after. It's the same reason Mcmanaman and Owen are also not that loved at the club compared to Fowler. What else hurts Keegan legacy is he is more associated with Newcastle than Liverpool despite only 2 seasons there when you think of Daglish its Liverpool when you think of Keegan its Newcastle. I don't know if Celtic fans feel the same with Daglish because he is regarded more of a Liverpool legend.
Leeds fan here Kevin keegan got to be in there
Him and John Toshack brilliant partnership
Lovren gonna be there soon
can u do a chelsea one pwease
imagine that at present Liverpool team if Gerrard play midfield!

What about Luis Saurez?
people forget how colossal Gerrard was deserves to be no1 without a doubt
Can you do arsenal plz and maybe chelsea
0:51🥺
How long have you got.....
Why Steeve Mcmanaman not included in the top 7???
How is Kevin Keegan not on the list ? He should arguably be top 3 with 3 first division titles, a uefa cup twice and a FA cup
Keegan over Dalglish, Gerrard or Barnes. Nah that's pure crazy talk. All three much better football players in their prime over Keegan.
Whenever I hear about Liverpool the first thing that comes to my mind is Torres and Gerrard.
For me it,s Ian Callaghan, Peter Thompson and Tony Hatley. Maybe an age thing eh ! Oh! not forgetting Tommy Smith, John Toshak, Roger Hunt, Emlyn Hughes etc. etc. My how time flies. Great Memories on the Kop don,t luckily.
Wheres ray clements he didnt even get an honerable mention
I got Robbie Fowler's autograph

Where is King Klavan?
The man than carried a poor Liverpool side for nearly 10 years on his own is number 2 am sorry but dalglish played with other greats for a number of years while Gerrard only played with a few and no one is more prouder and played with more heart than Gerrard for Liverpool
Dalglish stood out among other stars, Gerrard only stood out among lesser players and slipped up with costly errors .
I was going to riot if Gerrard was over Dalglish
You'll find that Robbie scored in 2 finals. 2001 League Cup and UEFA.
Kenny was at liverpool 14 years
Do Newcastle United
How is Ian Callaghan not in the list!?
Can you do celtic
Where are Carragher and Callaghan?
Do Chelsea next
They are doing it by league position so yes they are

8: Kevin Keegan 🏴
7: Robbie Fowler 🏴
6: Alan Hansen 🏴
5: john barnes 🏴
4: Ian rush 🏴
3: graeme souness 🏴
2: Steven Gerrard 🏴
1: Kenny dalglish 🏴
Good list but Suarez let the club down. I would like to see a goal keeper on that list.
Where is torres nad steve Gerrard
It should be the top ten really, then you could include Liddell, Keegan, Clemence and Neal
Fowler better than Keegan??? No Callaghan???pfff
It's not that Fowler was better than Keegan, if it was done purely on ability then Suarez would probably be top, but we think Fowler was a 'greater' Liverpool player.
HITC Sevens How? They both played over 300 caps, and Keegan won so much more trophies and is way more iconic. I do understand what you mean when it comes to Suárez, but not Keegan.
Where is Billy Liddel
