Usually make a trip there once a year besides NS IHB MITTAl there is also a lot of AMTRAK also ,safe spot is the parking lot for the offices of Mittal located to the southwest of where these where shot.
Do not know if this walkway is safe to be just hope security does not say anything because you are on their property There is a private drive overpass 2 miles west of here west of CP Hick but you can drive over it get down to the north end and turn around if you get something right away great but you can ot stop or stand on it.Traffic on it until 5 .About 6 to 8pm no traffic.There are cameras at the stop light.
