What if the baron is the listeners parent. It would explain the obsession

I honestly love this theory.
Though the obsession is more from his desire of war and the listener’s ability to look like other people.
Basically all the listener would have to do is look like someone else, do something terrible as that person, and then boom. Conflict.
@@brokenpieces5852 both theories could work. I mean their a shape shifter and if it is there parent the baron could be convinced they will take there appearance then replace them
Ok ok this has my ADHD all wound up now it would kinda make sense because with us being a changling and him experimenting on us and us running away would make sense of the obsession because not only did he lose a powerful experiment but also his kid

Which is to overthrow the king. I think it’s possible the changeling is his child, but I’m not sure.
The Baron has one of the most haunting voices. Like the voice in the back of your head that gives you negative thoughts.

edit: the baron is so well done like i hate the way he speaks and his voice so much it makes my skin crawl, part of it is the build up of him and a part of it is stunning acting like kudos

Man, that plan is not only devious, but all too real in many senses [with using religion to justify horrible actions towards people and trying to pit people (that are supposed to stand together) against each other]. It honestly makes me wonder how the story will progress, going forward. Are these two options actually the only ones, will the 3 find a loophole in either of those choices, or will this story have to end in some form of tragedy?
All in all, amazing job with putting this storyline together, I'm stoked to find out what will come next.

This is great but idk if this is intentional, but the baron responds WAY too fast in some lines, it throws off the performance imo, but its not a big problem.
i kind of love how he cuts off Griphook, like he doesn't actually care about his responses, and respects him so little that the Baron refuses to wait even a second longer than he wants to before interrupting whatever Griphook is saying. it adds so much to his character.
