Keep up the good work man, I understood you better than many other people on here doing the same process. I have one question once the retroarch is installed mine gave me a black colored background. I'm guessing its been updated or something I just did this through your videos yesterday the package was a bit bigger. Have any Idea as far as the color of the background or did I do something wrong?

Hello can someone please help me? When i play some GBA games on retroarch the horizontal jumping direction does not work. Like flinstones or so...you walk and hit the jump button and he only jumps vertically. Any idea? Thank you in advance.

I am picking up a vita really soon. Emulating retro games and getting the retroarch plugin is on of my main immediate tasks. What are the preqesuite steps required to even get your vita to install something like that. I know it’s gotten be jail broken and a few more important apps are needed.
I installed castlevania sotn, but the emulator has no R2/L2 buttons, and it doesn’t save my progress.

Have you gotten mame to work on the psvita? I haven't found a single good guide about it.
For N64 you need the daedalus emulator via PSP emulator; so you need to install adrenaline and in there, install daedalus.
N64 vpk it's recomended

I have the same problem when playing GBA games!
edit: I think I figured it out, under settings go to INPUT and then HOTKEYS and then select MENU (TOGGLE) and set the toggle that you want to use to open the menu screen when playing a game. Although, idk how to set a sequence of buttons, it only lets me select one button.
all i have is a plain black menu, how do i get the blue one

You mst hack you vita first so H-encore 2 comes first then I suggest doing the SD2Vita adapter installation. Then install all your games.

Hi there, when I install retroarch i go to data and there is no retroarch folder on my ux0: but there is thre bubble on my main screen, im using ftp to transfer on my 2000 model using cfw 3.60 please help
nevermind I just needed to open retroarch and close it so it creates the folder smh.

I installed the retro arc package and when I tried to put bundle where you said in DATA theirs nothing
just start retroarch on ps vita then afterwards it creates the folder
I have a 8gb micro sd on my Ps Vita Slim and I haven't install the h-encore 2 yet. Do you think it is enough for roms and custom firmware or do i need a different micro sd?
I believe that is enough to mess around with your favorites. Depends on which games you would like to play on it.

I got everything to work but I don't have that slick blue interface like yours. Did something not go correctly or have they changed their UI?
To change the UI to XMB go to Settings>Driver>Menu Driver> xmb
Then simply restart Retroarch to apply the change

Great video man I got the ROMs installed for a few consoles but for some reason I can't get the console icons to come up I scanned the ROMs folder but the icons don't show up any idea why any helps appreciated thanks

When I start RetroArch it just hangs on a black screen until it errors out a few minutes later with no description of said error. I made sure to install the bundle.zip stuff too so I'm kinda lost now.

@@RoblesJunior I got it working. For those curious it was a C1-2738-0 error that when googled said I had an older version still installed that was messing it up. So I deleted the app from the home screen and then opened VitaShell and deleted the 'retroarch' folder from ux0:data/. I then refollowed the instructions from this video and everything is working fine now. Thank you for your very easy to follow videos.

Never mind I figured it out
@Sara Rivera Settings, driver, menu driver, choose xmb. Then make sure in configurations you save settings on exit. THEN make sure you restart retroarch from the main menu. Good to go.

Are all your roms unzipped in the folders or do you transfer all the folders with the zipped files inside the folders ??
I unzip all of my folders and make sure its not zipped when installing.

Looking for how to set up Muli-player in RetroArch on Vita.
I know it emulates ps1 games but it doesn't create a list like a Gameboy list of games but for the ps1.

My data folder is empty when I go to find the RetroArch folder on my pc. Anyone else have this issue?

Try downloading the latest assets in settings. That should update the CXMB.
