edward french Dear sir: A playlist would be great for stories of this kind-a separate channel would be good for more mainstream faerie takes (i.e. no “rude surprises” to daycare teachers). The Languid Youth is a hoot.
@@FrenchEdward06 I'm thinking playlist and you could label it as child friendly. If you make a separate channel specifically for children, adults might miss out on some wonderful stories like this one.

I always pair it with Wuthering Heights (an incredible novel) - probably read them around the same time.)

I read this fairytale from a really well illustrated book - it was very boring. i figured - what the hell - and listened. like i've mentioned before - you bring the printed page to glorious life. Thanks, edward :) ~ it seems i listened to it 7 months ago - no wonder i listened again LOL

Maurice Sendak made illustrations for this story. That’s how I recognized this title, but this is the first time I’ve listened to this tale.
