      Z had a chance to beat MP, he didn't. He lost, like everyone else did. Perhaps Mariusz took the EASIER contests, you say? Despite him dominating Z in WSM and ISFA, yet .... you claim that cos Z beat Mariusz 58% of the time in Arnolds, he is the STRONGEST EVER.
      This, despite mariusz being a noobie and not even close to his potential.
      I rate Z as one of the greatest ever. NOT cos of his achievements, but partly so. But MP beat him FAR MORE TIMES when they competed head to head, over a decade, than the other way around.

Arnold tests better levels of strength than wsm . These people of wsm has completely changed the concept of strength . Prior to 2005 Pudzianowski was placed higher than Savickas 15 times and lower only 6 (twice in Arnold which was a totally different and independent competition). Also, if Virastyuk didn’t participate at the WSM 2004 Pudzian would’ve won the title too.
      That being said it’s VERY unlikely that Žydrūnas would’ve defeated Mariusz that year. WSM 2005 champion would remain unchanged.

    • @hristo5689
      @hristo5689 Před 2 lety +4

      Btw Savickas has to be the luckiest strongman of all time:
      a) Pudzian’s sponsors didn’t let him leave for IFSA which allowed Savickas to win different titles.
      b) Brian Shaw’s early celebration in 2010 WSM Loading Race which gave Žydrūnas the championship.
      c) another Shaw’s major mistake at the WSM, this time troubles with getting the atlas stone into the fourth hole in 2014. These 0.4 seconds got Savickas the overall victory by 0,5 point over Thor.

    • @annematthews1837
      @annematthews1837 Před 2 lety +5

      @@hristo5689 Thor also threw the title away twice more! Once when he stopped to entertain the crowd in the keg toss which lost him 4 seconds AND THE TITLE! And again when he "tried a different method" on the truck pull. His unorthodox (and crazy) starting method meant the best truck puller in the world by a mile placed 3rd, despite his last 1/2 of the pull being ridiculously fast.
      Then there is the Brian Shaw mistake of letting the sandbag fall into the water which took him almost 10 seconds to get back on the pedestal - although that is more of a "should have made sure it was right the first time" situation.
      Z is a great athlete, but his 4 titles ... some were "gifted". At WSM, Mariusz dominated Z the same way he did everyone else for the most part.
