Awesome. I love that road. Lots of great riding out there, can't believe we didn't pass each other hahaha. I am also very confused by that mine by Night hawk. All legal maps say it is DNR land. I think the land owner signed it up to keep looky loos out. If you ask him to check it out he will let you back there. Not sure what the deal is, Think it's also cause there is a very deep vertical shaft back there. I live in Oroville, maybe next summer we could meet up and do some T dubbin I could show you around out here. Tons of great stuff but it is kinda hard to find.
Was just out that way last week riding the NW Passage. Camped at lost lake and went through Chesaw and old molson. The Similkameen river valley was scenic with all the fall colors. I had forgot that it burned out there. If you get a chance, you should explore the Canadian side over by Keremeos. Thanks for sharing ~Grizz
Awesome! Last year I rode my tdub on the BRD from Cashmere to Nighthawk and back. It was a fun few days. We were deep in the Okanagan National Forest when we came across a few of mostly-naked hippies walking a small group of animals on the trail. Apparently there is sort of a compound/commune somewhere up in those woods.
Sounds about right for this area lmao . I'd like to do the full thing again but on the TW. I did it with a NC700X and it wasn't really ideal but I made it work
@@dualdorks that would be a long haul for the Tdub, but I'm sure it'd make it. I'd just get a comfy cushion for my seat next time. I only went on half the trial and my ass was chaffed bruised and beaten by the end of it!
Hey man. I really like your channel and have recently purchased a TW 200 for myself. Got the fat tire kit from bradley and am in line for a fat front tire kit from bradly too. I am in a band that plays music that might be perfect (if you like it) for background music for some of your videos. If you are interested let me know.
Im pretty impressed with the fat rear tire. the traction is significantly better and the ride is way smoother. i have decided to get the front one too after my last trip to the san rafael swell. there was so much sand and silt and i think the benefits of extra flotation with a fat front tire outweighs any negatives there might be having a fat front tire on dirt and other terrain. so far on the street my fat rear tire is a dream and i cant notice any negatives at all other than i got non dot certified tires and so they will wear out pretty quickly. here is a link to my band's channel. if you are interested in using out music for any of your videos you are sure welcome to do so. some of our stuff is songs but its mostly instrumental music and i think it would lend itself very well to a riding video. just let me know if you are and which ones!! www.youtube.com/@ghostofearnestpitch1672/videosI@@dualdorks
@@dualdorks for sure. Gotcha. Just looked and It looks like I always angle the xt600 to get it to close. The xt only has a 4in longer wheelbase than the TDub so they aren't much different. Loving the content brother.
Hey, so I'm pretty new to riding, how do you find cool places like this to ride at? Is there an app or a website that you use? Or do you just look at maps and take wild guesses on what roads are rough and out-of-the-way?
This trip was totally go with the flow and I had no idea what was around. Luckily I found a cool cut off to camp at . I usually just get bored and look around on Google maps for hours sometimes lol
Great country! Thanks for bringing us along.
Great content DD.
An old barn is always a great place to pee!😁
better than a portable potty lul
Awesome video thank you
Awesome Video! A+
Saturn below the moon there. Looks like fun!
Great Video !
Nice job... I started trucking my KLX to Utah and other cool places to ride and camp this summer and it was a blast

I'd like to head back that way soon and check it out for sure. I'll send you a DM when I do

Man that was some incredible scenery! What an awesome place to explore!
Good Lawrd man! Crossing that loose stuff near the tunnels gave me the creeps. i freaking hate heights and talus stuff. YIkes!
Putting around and exploring on the dub. The Life. Another great Double D production.
Also, the drone shots of you leaving at the end look like a mars rover moving along that landscape.
October scary stuff? Some of the trails and what looked like shelf roads can be questionable. Hard to tell with Go-Pro video.
Thanks for sharing.

Appreciate it man. I am interested in getting that fat tire kit as well

What is the temperature there? Awesome scenery, real adventure.
That area is probably covered in snow now. Haven't been back there since highway 20 closed down for the winter
(5:30) That’s where Gollum from LOTR lives lul
Does the Acty have a slightly shorter bed than my Carry? My XT600 doesn't overhang that much I think. Is she a 6 foot bed?
If my tire didn't hit the window gaurd, I'd probably be able to close the gate. I could close it too if I deflated the rear tire for sure
