Man i've been eyeballing these bikes (as a first bike) for a couple years now. I'm finally getting to the point where i could get one with a good conscience, and it looks so therapeutic to be getting out like that. I want to explore and bring a small fishing bag in my area with one so bad. Good videos man, this is great stuff.
It’s always good to see you having fun. I got a KLR 650 about 18 months ago that I commute on. I’ve found it big and heavy to learn off-road skills on. I just got a DR250 that I’m looking forward to getting out in the dirt with.
Ya I feel like phones ruin brains. Mts and sand with motorcycles is definitely a great remedy. What a great trail. When I'm on the west side of Washington maybe we can hit those trails. I need this soon
Great video. That snow up high was crazy and beautiful. I think I'll keep my desert, but dang, for videos, that stuff you're in is photographic as heck. Nice!
I love mine. Slow. No power. It will do 70. It's perfect for me I ride single track alot by myself. If it goes down I pick it up. Lookin for qt turn throttle. 😅
What brake line do you have on the front? Or how long is it? I'm looking at buying a longer one to go with the higher bars I put on my KLX. Keep making these vids!
I can't remember off the top of my head but I'm 90% sure I got it on Rocky mountain ATV. The stock was rubbing on the headlight cowl even with stock bars and ruptured one ride. This one I haven't had an issue with yet.
Did you say you are 6ft tall and this bike still feels tall for you? Now I am seriously thinking about getting the TW200 or KLX 230s (short). I just hate the fact there is no real aftermarket rear tire and lack of power compared to the KLX 300. I even thought about getting the KLX 300 and lowering it one inch. However being 5' 7 1/2" inches tall with 30" inseam I don't know if it would be enough. I have 45 years riding experience, grew up on dirt bikes and currently own a Yamaha R3. For this bike I will ride the road only around 5 miles or so to the trail entrance on Mt. Hood National Forrest in Oregon. I literally live 5 miles away from a trail entrance it's awesome. I won't be riding hard just sight seeing and keeping it on the easier trails. What are your thoughts? Cheers~
I can still flat foot the klx while at a stop but when you get stopped on a steep grade you definitely feel how tall it is. TW200 is my favorite bike but the KLX300 is an all around better bike. Bradley Performance has some conversions for the rear tire on their site where you can run different atv tires but I don't mind the stock TW setup. They are heavy to start with adding those conversions would add more weight
I have a 2022 KLX300, I'm 5 ft 7 inches tall and have a 30 inch inseam. I've been riding for 48 years. I weigh 180 lbs (and then add the weight of my helmet and riding gear, and the tail rack loaded with a small pack that contains a small pruning saw and pruning shears). The suspension compresses a bit. The balls of my feet touch the ground and I feel fine. I think of myself as an old man riding a donkey. And just like you, I ride the easier trails, take my time and enjoy seeing and being in the woods. Furthermore, you can play with the preload on the rear shock to change the ride height. I think you'll be very happy with a KLX300. I know I am.
@@antalgyori6744 Thank you very much for the reply and insight I really appreciate that. Sounds like we are about the same age, height, and riding skills. Have a great weekend!
When many of us are cooped up inside due to weather or winter blues, watching you ride thru the woods, giggling like a kid sure is a mood booster. 😄

A 360 cam would be sweet! love the content!
Respect for smashing your dual sport up Pat’s. I ride walker a lot, but on a 2 stroke enduro and it’s no joke!

'TW' count 4 times, "Turd Wagon' count 1. Sailor talk, happy kid count. Good job! haha. Get that 360 camera.
Thanks!

To be fair your channel is what you want it to be, it doesnt have to be just a riding channel. Also that K truck is bitchin!
Lovin' the videos!
I've got my 3 mini trucks now and i really enjoy bopping around on them. Excellent vidja bro
Kick ass rider! I suck with my klx in the Tennesse hills.

Another great video but I sure do miss those California desert videos.
Trust me I do too. I'd go back if I could. I will be out in Nevada sometime soon though

Awesome Video Beautiful Scenery What kind of Tires do you have on Your KLX 300

I fricking love that key truck man. Beaoutiful combination of bike and truck, congratulations. How much you weight bro?
Thanks man. I weigh about 190 and 6ft tall

I’m really curious what tires you’re running on that KLX. I’ve hit Walker when it’s wet and my D606 can’t grab at all.
Been loving the videos! I've been thinking of getting a KLX myself (been riding a KLR650 for about a year now). How do you have yours built up?
Mine is basically stock except for the gearing and some small stuff like high rise bars and different tires
@@dualdorks dope that's good to know
I live in Washington and wanna get out MotoCamping or Day Riding. You like Walker?
Yeah walker is a good time
Just moved to Stanwood last year. Going to check this spot out soon

What about slapping a set of aggressive treads on a KLX300 SM?
@@FFxF-rl6cl I don't like the 17" wheels
