I can see that Adobe has expanded so much the functionalities of Lightroom Classic (far over what we used to do in the Analog Dark Room)
If someone doesn't use LrC in the workflow and only uses Photoshop is either a masochist or a total purist.
What Adobe created with this Sensei AI technology is mind-blowing. I can see how the new Lightroom Classic takes Tethering to a complete new level.

Are you able to advise whether when running LRC 12.0 on an Apple Mac Studio Ultra -- so apple M1 Ultra CPU/GPU - should LRC still be run in Rosetta or no longer. AND should the Custom GPU option still be selected or changed to another setting? Adobe has nothing to say about this.
You shouldn’t have to run in Rosetta anymore on the M1. That’s all the support I can relay at this time! So sorry!

Not in Lightroom, but there is in Photoshop! Search Select Subject using the Cloud in Photoshop 23! I'll have a video up about it soon!
This new release is amazing and mind blowing indeed. I know the term game changer has been overused but this release is really a game changer. BTW, considering how powerful LR has now become, do you even use photoshop for retouching? Last but not least, I am looking forward to your preset pack. I am shooting a wedding early November
Hi Luc! (I wanted to name my daughter that name!!!) The preset pack will be released shortly. Hopefully you're on my email list so you can be notified! I do use PS for my composite work still! And for anything layer based. Hope that helps!

So I tried to use the people part but it says my graphics card isn't good enough. I have a 2019 laptop so now I'm bummed. Is there anything else that can be done to get this feature
im not sure! If your phone is newer, you might be able to access some of these features in the phone lightroom! In the adaptive presets section.

Oh my gosh! Why?? But here’s an insider tip…. If you use some of the premium PORTRAIT presets within the default Lightroom presets section, they will create the masks for you on the image. That’s all I can relay as of now. The processing is limited by phone processors so that’s the biggest hurdle for rolling out this functionality to Lightroom mobile. Have you checked out my Lightroom mobile editing bundle??
@@SharkPixel Thanks for the tip. Will check it out. I don't use mobile at all, I work only in my office using a desktop computer. Maybe I hate classic because I started out with Lightroom and there, importing is so easy, while at classic it always imports ALL photos of a folder even if I click only a few of them as a choice. Btw, your videos are top!
@@premierdesignsolutionsllc8425 Thanks! I dont think I've ever had that problem with LRClassic. Theres something thats inadvertently checked, I'd guess. I import selected photos (only 5 out of a folder of hundreds) all the time. Id hate for something like that to keep you from all the amazing functionality of lightroom classic. Especially with these new advancements. i wish i could help more. I know its quite hard to decipher what is selected and what isnt. Try before clicking import, make sure you press command or control D to deselect all thumbnails,. Maybe that will help!

@@SharkPixel OK... now that's embarrassing... probably because I always used Lightroom and it's so simple to import photos into Lightroom I assumed it's kind of the same way in Classic. I just clicked on the photos I wanted to import and hit import. Somehow I haven't seen that all the photos of this folder are basically preselected and have a checkmark (not just the ones I wanted to import and clicked on), so clicking on the photos I wanted to import just highlited them, but didn't actually select them. So, your tip was right on. A small mistake almost made me abandon Classic. Glad that I commented on your video! Thanks a lot!!!
Thank you for doing this video and I loved the content... however it didn't address or solve the issue I discovered with the new Adobe Masking. Most photographers don't have just one photo, we have multiple looks and angles and positions are posed or captured into. My reference to adobe's shortcoming was around this that presets don't solve. If you have multiple people in PHOTO1 and you make all your changes, enhancements to each person using the new AI Masks based off of "Persons" selection.... you CAN NOT copy and paste it to PHOTO2... The result will be all masks will be applied to usually the FIRST Person detected in the new PHOTO2. IF Face Recognition and AI were working in unison then this would be a HUGE time saver. It seems your work around is to rely on AI for the masks, and know how to apply each preset to each person... sure, that works and it's a tad bit of a time saver..... BUT LRC HAS FACE recognition, they NEED to TIE THIS to the AI detection for MASKING, THEN as Editors, we can create the PERFECT image of JUST ONE PHOTO and then APPLY it all to the next 2, 3, 5, 10 photos with multiple people. A HUGE time saver for BOTH Wedding and Event Photographers or anyone who DOES many photos with multiple people.
