Awesome, Thanks so much
You bet!
Thank you, Kristina! I didn't know about button mode!
Button mode is great! Just remember you cant edit, change or rename actins while in Button Mode.
@@SharkPixel Gotcha!
Thanks for showing the "button mode" :-)
Absolutely!! Its so fun! And I love adding colors to my actions!
Thank you, never saw this before!
very welcome!
Great stuff!
Thanks Kristina for sharing this cool Action and your knowledge. You are the best!!
You are most welcome Daphne! Im glad you enjoyed it!
I learn something new from you each time I watch one of your videos. Looking forward to your next video.
Yay! That means a lot to me!! Thank you!!
Wow.. thank you Kristin. I have watched a ton of videos on the changes which most have been around the mask tools in Lightroom but you are the first I have seen to show this which blows me away….
It truly is quite amazing. I'm thrilled you were able to learn something!
Excellent. Thank you for the Action.Really appreciate it
My pleasure Diane!!
It would be fantastic if this technology could select chain link fence patterns and remove them...and do the blending with the image to make it disappear !!
It actually can! Check out @piximperfect 's video on exactly that!
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I too have watches a number of videos on the recent changes to Ps and none of them included this tip which might be one of the best.
Wow! I'm so glad you found it useful. Its wildly exciting and useful, I feel.
Hi Kristina! Good stuff here! I'll already knew about the Mask All, thanks for the idea for the action!!
Thanks! My pleasure! Any time we can use Photoshop to automate our retouching process - it's a win.
Just what I needed. Thanks so much!
Absolutely Linda!
Hi Kristina, can you tell me if your “Select Anything in Photoshop with One Click” action can also work in localized versions of Photoshop, for example the Italian one?
In case there is an easy way to switch from the Italian to the English version without having to re-install photoshop?
thank you very much, congratulations on your work
I really wish this was something that Adobe could create. Compatibility of actions across languages. But at this point I dont think its possible. But the concept of selecting everything - even though it wont be done technically in one click, you could still achieve by using the "mask all objects" command in Photoshop.
So, what if you have a different release? This is great - but what do we do in other versions? I have 23.4.1
This tip is possible in 23.4.1 for sure.
Hi Kristina, only 6 items have a mask. It does not select the phone, I opened your psdfile with 6 elements selected, I did it manually and it selected 6 items and I used the action also 6 items are selected. I use the same version of photoshop as you do and the same photo as you do why does it not select the phone. Any idea?
it looks like the photo only has 6 items in it. Im a bit confused. What is it not selecting?
@@SharkPixel in your video you have 7 mask layers, I get 6 mask layers. The phone it not selected so I have 6 mask layers, the mask layer "background object 5" in your video is missing if I do object select. It has the same result when I use the action instead of manual: the phone is not selected
@@adrienevd The only thought I have about this, is when I shot the video, photoshop actually selected two different masks for the boutonnière. The other thing is that Adobe is constantly updating content aware technology so they may have already tweaked the algorithm. Sorry I dont have a better answer for you!
