On 28 March 1964 a team of DJs boarded a boat moored off the coast at Felixstowe and changed the radio industry forever. 50 years on and those involved in the pirate broadcasts remember what it was like to make history. I dare the British Government to license Radio Caroline and to admit that they were wrong. Obviously this would take courage and moral fibre. Canadians, Australians and folks from New Zealand played a great part in this story. Sad that few in these countries know about this exciting and romantic time.

It was the best radio station 2 listening 2 i used take my radio up the town on a bus listening 2 radio caroline south the film the boat that rocked is all about radio caroline
