I have a SCPH-70000 series. The disc drive don't work. I think it's an easy fix but I wont tamper with it so I soft modded it. Its still going strong apart from the discdrive. I still play on it to this day. There is always something new, interesing and original to explore. It's not the most powerfull system of it's time but man what a great library of exclusives and the vast library of 3rd party support it has. The 6th gen was truly the peak of videogames.
Indeed. It's no surprising it's the best selling videogame console of all time. It takes me back to simpler times where online DRMs weren't a thing and where we had access to hundres of amazing games. Graphics were not amazing by today's standards but they looked so advanced at the time hahaha that I had trouble believing they would improve much upon that. Truly one of the best era if not the best era on videogame history.
Great to know yours is still going strong.
Thank you for your comment and your support!
Happy gaming! 💚🙏
PlayStation 2 user here, I had SCPH-90000 series, still working.
It's an amazing system. Glad to know yours is still running strong.
