Indeed. It's no surprising it's the best selling videogame console of all time. It takes me back to simpler times where online DRMs weren't a thing and where we had access to hundres of amazing games. Graphics were not amazing by today's standards but they looked so advanced at the time hahaha that I had trouble believing they would improve much upon that. No. The TV I'm using is a 1080p LG TV. The "4K" in video's title is related to me using my IPhone to record the video at 4K. I'm sorry for the confusion. I do have a 4K TV as well but the higher the screen's resolution the worse the image quality. The adapter, altough it has a 1080p converter built-in, will only make the aspect ratio match the screen. The resolution will still be Progressive: 256×224 to 640×240 pixels (224p to 240p) and Interlaced: 256×448 to 640×480 (448p to 480p), depending on the game. Therefore it won't make the image look HD, no matter what, because the data is still coming through SCART. It's pretty much impossible. The only way to achieve such resolutions is through PC emulation (PCSX2). Which I highly recommend, if you have a powerful enough CPU and a decent GPU, in your PC. With that being said, using a 4K screen will most likely make it unplayable, considering we'd be dealing with around 4x the pixel count you already have at 1080p. And even at 1080p you're already dealing with massive pixelization due to the insane difference between the console's internal resolution (source) and the TV's pixel count. About the console. It's a genuine PSOne (old one) from 23 years ago (2000). Thanks for watching and let me know if there's anything else you want to know!

Hello there! I'm using a PS2's AV cable and a 1080p Scart to HDMI converter from Amazon. Altough there are far better adapters than this one that will provide you with a slightly better output. But it will still depend on your screen's resolution as the PSOne will always output at 480p max. So the higher your screen resolution, the more pixelated it gets. In this video I'm using a 1080p TV.

Ouch! Sorry to hear that! It sucks when a game we care about gets wrecked. That happened with my Sega Saturn copy of Sega Rally Championship. I don't even know how it happened. I simply went ahead and opened the case one day and it was broken in half. Not exactly sure how that happened. Although I wasn't exactly the most careful person, as a kid but it's still a mistery yet to be resolved. Never got a replacement but it's sad because it was my first ever game and I have tons of memories with it.

No, the Pfister 811 uses its own sound sample, which apparently is based on a DOHC VTEC engine which is pretty stupid considering that the Pfister is based on a Porsche.
