In this video, we will discuss how CAs can make themselves worthy and market-ready.
Ashish cleared his CA in 2011 and he was offered the highest package in the history of ICAI Campus Placement i.e. Rs. 70,00,000. He says that "CAs will always be in demand in the market" but for that, you need to be really good: the one with a good personality, amazing technical skills, outstanding communication skills, you've to be skilled. Just having a degree isn't going to make you employable, it's your skills which make you employable"

With all due respect to the professionals, I just want to ask, whenever there is an international posting, why the package is converted into rupee terms and the figure is magnified...
If the candidate earns in dollar, then he is also going to spend in dollar and not in rupee...
The magnification happens later, when the savings are remitted to India...
More over 70 lakh is ctc ,
It's not cash in hand ,
It includes all perks .
It's a measurement for Indian C A aspirants.

The same situation is now with IIT Graduates (Btech, Mtech). For ex. If I talk about IIT DELHI ( One of the best IIT), out of 1500 students who sit for placements every year, only 900-1000 (only around 60-65%) get campus placement and that too CTC of around 5-7 Lakh. This situation is of the best IIT in the country. Best means IIT Bombay ,Delhi, Madras only. Kanpur, Kgp are on 2nd stage in the 1st generation. And rest are not even IITs , they are just trivial colleges.

Very nice video sir. I've been working in a PSU for last 3.5 years.. have not been able to complete my CA finals nor my CMA finals. Had left hope as how can I do CA or CMA but I've been following you since last 3-4 years. And now I am getting a positive energy which is leading me to follow my CMA final. However my dream of becoming a CA since I did not complete my articleship and joined the central PSU and later switched to a state PSU. I was so disappointed that I'll not be able to complete my CA dream. But now I'm feeling better that I should at least do my CMA..

Please include CMAs in your discussion. The CA and CS are respected everywhere but I find that CMA is not known to many. Your one step in this will help many. Thanks again to you sir.

Sir a sincere request that please focus more on bringing HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL Chartered Accountants like this on this platform. So that we can learn WHAT THEY DO and KNOW that an average and below average Chartered Accountant doesn't.
Apart from whatever is told in video, following things also play major role in getting high packages from foreign companies (especially those situated in poor or war prone or conflicted countries like some African countries)
1. Threat to your life.
2. Non availability of professionals in that country.
3. High package is like premium for leaving your native place, family, freedom, social life etc.
If high package is so attributable to skill sets discussed in video, discussion should also be done on two more things:
1. What was exposure of gentlemen during articleship? I am sure every 4th or 5th serious article get such exposure in india.
2. Could any indian company have offered such high package back then in 2011?
