Congratulations Kenny! It's so sad though when you said "please be nice". That explains why you kept your relationship private, u feel so protective and so helpless too. Damn, social media for public figures sucks! Being a private person is such a privilege! I must admit I was a bit peeved when I saw you had hidden your relationship from us, like I would feel if a friend would have hidden such a news. Weird, I know. But now I get it! 😁
I know right! Even I was like, Kenny posts everything on story, even if he is cooking something or any small thing as such. Itni badi baat humse chupaayi? Vaali feeling aa gayi thi! Then I realized that he always spoke about it on simple ken that he would prefer keeping his relationships and things related to it, a secret! Haha.

I really related to the point of men suppressing their emotions. In 2020, when my grandmother died of COVID, my father didn't cry throughout the funeral. I was confused coz I was bawling my eyes out and he just carried on like nothing happened. 15days later, I had a fight with my aunt coz she was badmouthing my brother and I just blasted. I packed my bags to return back to the city where I was studying. My dad comes to my room and asks me to not go. I didn't listen. (It's a normal thing when my aunt comes over.) But, that day, my dad broke down. He cried and cried for like 45mins and I cried. We talked about grandma and cried even more. That evening, I could see a burden getting off his back. He felt calmer and relaxed.
For all the people out there, who suppress their emotions coz they are supposed to be strong and be there for others, it's okay to let your feelings out. Don't hold it in. It only eats you from within.

I love the fact that you said that time heals when you acknowledge it, cause it really rang in my heart. I have gone through probably one of the worst two years (the pandemic and due to it the lockdowns) of my life and I really struggled with depression and anxiety issues, probably because I just never acknowledged that I had such issues. So, what you said just pulled me back to that time and it offered me comfort. Thank you Kenny! Also, congratulations on your marriage! 🥳🥳
