Not a good takeoff was this a maiden?
Hi Jeffs! Its first flight was 1979, and won the Irish championship in Large Scale with it.
it was flown on most weekends until 1998. since then It was mothballed until the flight on the video.
The twin Methanol power had been changed to petrol loosing some power. Yes, I was all nerves!
The kit can still be obtained from ROKE Modelle in Germany ( if you are interested)
Regards Fred

Hallo und danke fuer den weieren Kommentar.
Ja I habe 1963 angefangen in Darmstadt, aber richtig ging es erst ab 1970 in Irland los da ich vorher in 7 verschiedenen Laendern gearbeitet habe.
gruss nochmal aus Dublin, Fred

Thank you Mickey for your visit to see one of 145 videos! No camera man is normally the pilot. This time he was commandeered to the unfamiliar job with the camera.. After posting 145 videos I do like "to be in the picture" ones in a wile!
Greetings from Ireland, Fred
