Your videos helped me when I have to move to CLT last year! I had 3 weeks to pack up and move for a new job and knew nothing about the city. I do agree about it missing the multicultural aspect. I'm from Miami and grew up around all types of cultures and miss it lol. I have, however, met some of the best people here and have been to a lot of great events. I wish they would open up more stuff than just breweries but my friend who was born here told me they've basically gentrified majority of the city. I like the city a lot and have been doing well with my business here too. There are a lot of events for artists and there's a lot coming up in the summer!
Yeah there definitely are alot of different events in pockets int be city for sure! Honestly your right, its all about who you know and you just have to find it. Super excited for the summer!
I just moved here from NY to the Concord area great neighborhood and all my neighbors are black I see a lot of diversity met so many great people already. Could be because I am older in my 40’s but it seems very diverse a huge Latino community here as well..
This was great! Similar story! Moving from Jersey there in the next month or so. Praying for the best, because I know no one 😂 Finding a job has been difficult though to say the least, which I did not expect! So glad I've found this channel.

Dont get me wrong its still an amazing city, i just miss good Jamacian food 😂😂😂. But id still recommend 😊

Can you help me ! I’m planning to move back to Charlotte as soon as possible! I need a job and I’ve been on a hunt for a stay at home job and I have a kid so that would just make it so much easier for me if I didn’t have to be on the move so much . Is the company you work for still hiring or could you recommend somewhere I should look ?
Hey girl! I totally understand. I would definitely recommend looking on LinkedIn for available openings in the area or fully remote. That is where i find the most opportunities and land interviews.

Mhmm havent really found any super good places but i would follow @thadailyspecial on instagram. He always has the best recommendations in the city
theres a lot of soul food restaurants in charlotte like Nanas (south charlotte) Merts (uptown) Floyds and Chicken Box/Chicken King etc
Wow interesting. I thought Charlotte was more of a melting pot than you describe. Good to know. From outside looking in perceptions are bery different from reality I see. Makes me wonder if I should stay where i am. Lol
