From someone who used to work cust service for target, the popcorn was taped together like that to prevent making a mess while it waited to be damaged out. If you can't get to it right away that's just a loose bag of food confetti waiting to make your work area a hot mess.
Just watched your intro to your video and you are so right. I’m in my 70’s and I don’t draw anywhere near what our government says is poverty level for seniors. I’m around $400 below what they claim. Can I get help, absolutely not. I miss one program by $100. Amazing!!! Keep doing what your doing
Girl, I know what you mean I am 65 and I get $837 a month which if I was by myself I could never live on that. Thank God my fiancé gets paid every week. I don’t know what the government is thinking, and I have been working since I am 16 years old And I do not get food stamps I agree they would say that I make too much I don’t know what the world is going to do but glad that I am 65
That’s absolutely horrible!!!! It truly breaks my heart to hear how many seniors struggle that are on SS! You’d think they’d offer a ton of programs etc for the people that built this country to what it is! 😡

Shannon you are amazing. i’m disabled now, but I used to donate all the time with my father. He would feed homeless people, or anyone that was hungry from Thanksgiving to New Year’s and every month. He would do it once a month up until Thanksgiving. I was the one that would cook and help my stepmom get everything prepared. When I was younger, I used to ask him how he could afford it and he always told me God provides even if it isn’t for us it would be for other people he would always have a way to have food for people to eat. And then there were times also where he would help someone pay a light bill or a phone bill but he got out of doing that because it was the same people all the time and he’d give them money and then they wouldn’t pay their bills so he started paying them unfortunately when that happened, they wouldn’t ask anymore because they wanted the money not the bill paid, so yeah they could still come and ask but he’d say to them give me your light bill give me your phone bill and I’ll pay it. But like I said, there were some people that tried to scam my dad, but he knew better, so I think what you’re doing. Shannon is awesome. I wish I could still do it but like I said I’m disabled now I’m an amputee and I’m legally blind. Even though I live in Pennsylvania you’re not in my area but I still thank you for doing what you do to help people, keep up the good work

I'm glad you found a place for the food. Going to the food bank with a car load this week. Going out Monday night. I'm glad I can go out 3 times a week, depending on the weather. Don't have to worry about young children. Way past that time of life.

I worked at a food pantry in Illinois for years. And I can tell you that we were allowed to hand out food, that was 6 months to a year past the expiration date or best buy date because it is a recommended date , not a literal date. I'm so happy to hear that people will be eating better again because of you and changing mindsets from the powers that be. ❤

Hi Shannon. WOW! Theat was such a an awesome donation to all the people in your community. I am also happy that Tara has found a place that you can finally donate food to and a soup kitchen as well. I used to work at a church in the Bronx. This church was a Blessing to all people even the elderly. No one was never turned down bc of earnings. Plus I do remember one Sunday when a elderly woman walked in and looked like she was about to fall. The church took the time to make a bag and send it to her home so she could eat. YouShannon are such a Blessing to all. Don't you ever forget that your special to me and all of us. It was a big score but your still one of my best friend and I will always be here for you.
