actually..Marion's defense is different from Bell's. Bell plays really close up to defend Kobe's jump shot. Marion doesn't guard Kobe close except when Kobe decides to drive. Check out some footage..highlights etc. Kobe scores very easily on Marion with jumpshots.

At the 8minute mark, the referee is clearly outclassed and intimidated by the hostile environment, calling a phantom goaltending call. That was one of the best blocks I've seen all year, and could have put the game away sooner for the Lakers.
