Ejala (Jan Magne Forde) - Stadtkapelle Hermeskeil

Ejala by Jan Magne Forde, played live by the Stadtkapelle Hermeskeil at our annual concert on 25.11.2023 in the Hochwaldhalle Hermeskeil. It is the first annual concert under our conductor Stefan Barth from Braunshausen.
The lyrical piece Ejala by Norwegian composer and trumpeter Jan Magne Forde has its origins in African music. In the solo part there is room for improvisation, which we fill with alto saxophone, trombone, marimba, flute, clarinet and flugelhorn.
