- The beautiful wedding dress Princess Beatrice wore on her wedding day was loaned from the Queen who wore it on a number of occasions, including to a glamorous film premiere in London almost 60 years ago.
Her Majesty wore the vintage ivory gown to the Lawrence of Arabia film premiere on 10th December 1962.
The stunning dress was designed by Sir Norman Hartnell, he’s the man behind the Queen's wedding dress and the outfit for her Coronation in 1953.

Just because you are Royal does not mean the whole world needs to be there. Her wedding sounded very intimate and personal; only those closest to her were there. So glad the queen and Prince Phillip were able to attend. You can see how much the queen loves her grands. I thought the newly weds were very considerate to respect the veteran before releasing wedding pictures.
What a wonderful surprise to see the lovely pictures of this wedding. The Queen is pure class to bless her beloved granddaughter in this way, but at the same time no fuss or expense, just love and beautfy.

@@angelasieg5099 Not the Hanoverian Tiara, Queen Victoria wore the diamonds in a necklace. Queen Mary wife of King George V had Garrad the Crown Jewellers make them into the tiara which both Queen Elizabeth and Princess Anne wore on their wedding day.
