- Disney Cruise Line revealed the name of the third Triton class ship - the Disney Destiny and its theme will be heroes and villains. One Hundred and One Dalmatians, Hercules, and The Lion King have all been confirmed to be seen on the ship, but we speculate about what else we may see and what we'd love to see.

I agree. You can call the Star Wars one a galactic starcruiser instead....
I would love to see them retheme the 2 oldest ships to Marvel and Starwars and honestly take that IP off of the Tritan ships, not bc I don't like them because I do, it just doesnt match the theme and it just seems forced to get all the propert represented. I don't think Disney will try a Starwars ship bc the hotel failed.
The internet says Seattle was the port for 1 year 2012
Booked on the Magic out if Fort Lauderdale in November. My first cruise was on the Dream. I can't imagine any other ship giving me that same feeling.
Atrium theme & statue ideas: I think the statue should be a classic Disney villain like the Evil Queen with a poisoned apple, or Maleficent with a spinning wheel. With either of those the atrium could be gothic castle themed with stone walls, tapestries, and gargoyle candle and/or torch holders....and a magic mirror if the Evil Queen is the villain.
I hope we'll see the Queen villains lineup and they're just holding that back for now. Maleficent, Evil Queen, Ursula, etc.
I want Hercules as the atrium statue!
The theming of these ships is all over the place, everyone put their ideas in the hat!
Wish is themed around Princesses and Enchantment Marvel and Starwars included?

One comment about the ship name - all the other ship names are nouns: Magic, Wonder, Treasure, etc… Destiny keeps with that trend, while Imagine is a verb (albeit a very Disney one)… 🤷♂️ of course, they could have gone with the Disney Imagination so idk.
I would love a restaurant with a Villians Showcase…like them doing the Spell Book Tango” or something
The Star Wars dinner sounds like a great idea. I wanted to try all that crazy looking galactic food so bad! But they should really make it eating in Jaba’s palace with an animatronic Jaba chilling in the background watching the show with you.
Star wars is not popular enough...it's a fading brand.
I say people would love to have an Adventurer's Club style bar. It's what I miss most about Pleasure Island. Totally off topic but ya know.
I think Hercules will be the live dinner show and I think the Lion King would be a good bar like the hyperspace lounge. This theme feels masculine where the Wish is feminine...
I was a little excited for the Wish. It is our next sailing. I am not at all excited for the Treasure. I am so curious about the Destiny. The theme seems so interesting. I hope they are more consistant with the theme tgan they were with the Wish. The wish theme was suposed to be fairytales I guess, but it ended up being IP like how can we get every branch of IP on this ship. I think there is so much you can do with heros and villans. Im really interested to see what the home port and will be and itinerary. If they put it at Canaveral which is historically what they do, wich ship will move? Will they send one of the 3 to Ft Lauderdale? Will they send one to the West Coast? Will they do something completely different??? I love Elain's ideas for the teen and tween club. Descendants is so super on brand and the lack of quality theming in these spaces has always been my #2 complaint (#1 is outdated muster, lol)
Seems like they didn't plan the themes at the same time(wish they did), because some things on the other ships makes more sense on the other. 100% agree with hyperspace lounge fits more on the destiny vs the wish
What if Edna Mode is a clue to a spin on the Bippity Boppity Boutique. Instead of (or in addition to) a Princess makeover, you get a hero makeover?

Jackie wants a permanent ship in Seattle… well I want a permanent ship in Los Angeles /Long Beach. We have to share the Wonder between Vancouver, Galveston, New Orleans, & now Australia. DCL is leaving money on the table by NOT having a permanent SoCal cruise. It forces SoCal cruisers to have to take Carnival & Royal Caribbean cruises.

If they do Star Wars, it needs to the be the original trilogy, and maybe a tiny bit of the Mandalorian.
I expect hercules to either be staterooms or one of the restaurants or both
Don't forget that in the early days of DCL, "Hercules the Muse-ical" was one of the main stage shows. And it flopped. If Disney brings it back, I hope v 2.0 is much better.
Or else showcase something like Quasimodo/ Hunchback, or101 Dalmatians, Incredibles, etc.
I think they will move the Wish to Fort Lauderdale and have the Destiny in Port Canaveral.
I wish we could keep a ship on the West Coast.
lol I’m not the biggest fan of Lion King but it is the highest grossing animated film (2019 version) and does have a “live action” (cgi) prequel coming out this winter. It’s not completely random.
I can’t with that awkward moment with Craig and Jackie about the ship in Seattle lol.
Yeah, it was pretty special, wasn't it? I LIVE for those moments, though. And it's usually me who isn't remembering one thing or the other. Apparently I somehow thought I was a "kid" when I was 40. LOL!

I spend most of my time behind the scenes and off-camera these days which is a little bit of a bummer for me, but they haven't been able to work out how to get me in there with the new studio. How is Destiny any worse than Treasure?
Theme is awesome, name sucks. It doesn’t sound Disney at all. Imagine or Believe would have been better. Or Imagination. As for the third restaurant I was saying Encanto too. I love that soundtrack. Also, yes, please give the West Coast their own ship! Three months is a joke, especially when it goes up North for Alaska and the back half in San Diego.
Maybe bleach as well I’m fine with that and Hercules as well have ab bleach bar and a Hercules restaurant I’m fine with that maybe you can see Zeus in costume there at the Hercules restaurant maybe have chogoink franky restaurant as well I’m fine with it. But. I wish they served. Arizona. Iced tea. Instead of. Coke. Maybe prime as well. Instead of. The. Coke. Prime and Arizona ice tea.
Hate it. I know people name Destiny so it seems like I am calling them. The Imagination is what I would have suggested.
On the third restaurant, I would love to see something from the FOX side, maybe a Bob's Burger or Simpsons theme restaurant. Or maybe since Bob's Burger is more Adult theme, have this be for the bar.
