Saw her at Glyndebourne the other day (as Ino in Handel's Semele). This stuff here is great but try to me imagine that, in person, she sounds five times better. What a magnificent voice.
Oh my goodness, what a dark and powerful voice! Well done young artists programme! Can't wait to see her in more!
My skin tingled listening to this and i nearly cried. Beautiful
I see Stephanie Wake Edwards, I click. 🥰 oh to listen to one of her performances in person ❤️
What a unique and powerful performance by all! Fabulous! Love the dramatization of beautiful music!
When quarantine finally ends and you can go outside freely, but then you see that there's a man tackling a snake at the end of the road and a person's head on fire-
Very fitting for the role!

... from the pursuing furies of the mind!
maybe i’m being impious, but how are the kathleen ferrier/clara butt comparisons not incoming yet? she somehow manages to produce that unmistakeable combination of clarity and depth, in the lower register especially, which was typical of recordings from the first half of the 20th century, but seems to have more or less gone extinct in the modern day. with her and emily d’angelo we might be hearing the resurrection of the classic mezzo/contralto sound: their voices honestly give the impression of having time travelled to the present from an earlier age.
No one :
Subtitles : [music]
Also subtitles : no need to thank me
Only Händel created this kind of dramatic recitatives during his time. Nobody beats him. It is a recitative "accompaniato", not an aria.
Oh a Handel opera
Oratorio
Hercules was originally an oratorio but has also been staged as an opera
Third
😆hmm..
I think you shall to the bank
Nice classical mezzo. Fantastic recit (this is not an aria. But all these people have nothing to do with baroque music.
Nice . The Ratings : 😼😼😼😼 Cats .

Sorry but opera grates my ears, I just cannot stand it..
This is an Oratorio....Not Opera
There's a clip of her doing a masterclass with Joyce DiDonato on this piece a year before this and you can hear how far she's come with it since then! Divine (I actually she does it better than DiDonato... more musical and less crazy haha)
Yes! I’m trying to find that video to watch it again and i can’t 😢
