Hey Everyone! I’m really happy I chose to move to Germany! Please note I did the Internship in the USA and got a full time job with the same company in Germany.
Warst du schon mal in der Schweiz?
I moved to Germany for the same reason. Also live in Ba-Wü 😜
@@PCLHH And how’s life been treating you in Germany? I hope you are doing well.
Dude I was so confused why someone from the states would move to Germany, seeing that you moved to our ”beloved“ city Stuttgart is even more confusing hahaha. Construction everywhere, it‘s a mess
Enjoy your time in Germany Zachery - no matter where you are. 😊
As a Romanian tourist, I can confirm that Germany is gorgeous and has a lot to offer. Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, King Ludwig's castles, Bayreuth, Dresden - the Florence of the Elbe, Rostock and Hamburg -impressive ports, the Ulmer Munster, the medieval towns of Wurzburg and Bamberg, Koln with the magnificent Dome, Burg Hohenzollern, Leipzig , the medieval town of Regensburg on the Danube, the vibrant Berlin of course, the glorious Schloss Schwerin on the lake, Essen cathedral, Potsdam Palace, the medieval well-preserved little towns with tasty local food, the clean and exquisite little villages with breathtaking landscapes all over the country..to name just a few. There are many other fantastic places to be explored which I'm planning to visit and discover 😊 🌍 🇩🇪
I love ❤ Germany as well
I honestly don't think Germany or Stuttgart are that underrated. I just think Berlin in Munich are so overrated that people forgot other places exist, lol.
Stuttgart and Berlin is like to compare apples and pears.
The 2 cities are total different. Each with it's own vibe.
I think the reason more people ask: Berlin? It's more known outside of Germany.
Stuttgart is a beautiful city to live in. Berlin and Munich are just better known.
@@Siggy1229 exactly!
Exept Karlsruhe is a lot better than Stuttgart😂
@@Artemis_-yy1nt I live in Karlsruhe 😂
I love that you’re in Stuttgart! I lived near Tübingen and miss it so much!! ( Essen, Bier, Kultur usw) I can totally relate to all of your videos! Bis nächstes mal!
Thank you!!
“I’m still on the market” 😂😂
Your videos are funny. Glad you are enjoying it over there!
-Fellow American 🇺🇸
Sooooo glad to see more from you in germany :3
Thought your "Trip" was already over when you posted videos with your family in america.
I enjoy watching you learning our language quite much. 🥰
More to come! I really appreciate it! Thank you for supporting!

Can't wait! 😄
Whenever I heard that some foreigners move to Stuttgart I get a little proud and jelous. I grew up just outside Stuttgart but am now living somewhere else. (Not even that far away) but Stuttgart has a special place in my heart.
Yeah I’ve never been there but that’s cool
Dear Zac, I remember 1998 pretty well. Did a long trip by motorcycle from northern Germany to Finland, up to the north cape, and all the way back through Norway and Sweden, together with a friend. 4 weeks on the road. Was great!
If I could move back to Munich I would. I lived there for 5 years because my dad was in the U.S. Army. I live in Southern CA and the closest I can get back to Germany is Old World Village in Huntington Beach, CA.
Love ur content, ur super fun to watch
Thanks!!
wonderful! i found you in youtube shorts and i watched all of them at once although i had to slepp because it was late... this should be a compliment :D :D :D really funny! and dont forget to lüften!!! Frische Luft ist ja sooo wichtig :D :D
Stuttgart is amazing! I was there for around 3 days. Baden Württemberg is a beautiful state.
What was the industry and field you were working in that allowed you the opportunity for an internship in Germany? Are you open to sharing what type of profession it is? Used to live near Tübingen and visit Stuttgart often.
I can recommend visiting Northern Germany as well (not just Hamburg and Bremen), maybe Oldenburg, Lübeck, Schwerin, Wismar, Rostock, Lüneburg, Celle, Goslar, etc...
We are currently living in Germany and I have an almost 16 year old son that has some questions about internships in Germany. He really doesn't want to ever leave Germany, and I don't blame him. Perhaps one of these days he'll be able to meet you and ask you these questions in person. We have about 3 more years left here in Germany until going back to the states, but by then he'd be just freshly graduated from HS.
Yes, email me and I can see what I can do. Also, I didn’t do an internship in Germany but I got a full time job with the same company I did my internship in the states with.
Highschool or a German school? Because in German schools they usually do very short internships during the school time. And if you want to try more you can just ask any employer if it is possible to „ein Praktikum machen“
if he is on a german school and gets his Abitur he can easily study in germany and stay. With the new laws he can even get a german passport and bascily become german after 5 years of paying taxes.
Try to put him into a German school, preferably a G8-Gymnasium. That would let him finish with a German degree and be completely integrated in the culture (That is what exchange students do). Companies often offer jobs for students during the summer break, good to perfect his German and get some spending money. Some jobs may be available all year (I worked as a reporter for the local paper when I was seventeen). Often this kind of side job can open other doors for future jobs.
Let him participate in activities of the German community around you that care for social services or sports (Sportvereine). That will offer further opportunities as well.
Staying alone in a country, when your family leaves, is a lot easier if you already have a local environment with local friends.
If you mean Ausbildung...he should ask his teachers.
There are numerous opportunities for him, to learn a profession...and going further from that. Meister e.g.
Opening up his own shop...
I live in Germany, and would definitely choose Stuttgart over Berlin (even though you didn't have a choice). I mean, it's easier to speak English in Berlin but Stuttgart and that area, plus soooo close to France, have a lot more to offer (if you asked me). I watch your videos because they're funny and I can identify with the observations.
I moved to Canada from Germany but I’ll be visiting Germany this year. Would be awesome to meet you!
Why Canada? Horrible mistake. I love Canada but Europe is far superior in each and every way.
Happy being Deutschland citizen Zack! 😊😊😅
Legend. Welcome to 🇩🇪
Thank you!
Come to Bielefeld it's a beautiful city with the "Teuto" Forest!
Bielefeld does not excist in reality!
@@Schroeder3000 so True
God Bless! I’m trying to move to Germany too!
Hey Zac!
Like your ironic style. Most americans however stick to the south of Germany, while I consider the north of it being underrated. For instance the ‚Halligen‘, which are island getting regulary flooded by the north sea. Or Rügen and Usedom, close to Poland. There in Peenemünde is a museum where the first rockets ever started in WW II started towards London, designed by Werner von Braun, who later built the Saturn rocket, which brought the US to the moon. Or maybe also Hamburg, if you‘re more into cities.
Americans were often sticked to the Southwest, because there were the american Military areas after the war...
Fromwhat the granddads or other family parts were telling of.
please turn captions on.
We moved to Stuttgart July 2020! We unfortunately have to move back to america this July 😭😭😭😭 we LOVEEEE Stuttgart!!!
THE LÄND is looking for Fachkräfte everywhere, should be easy to find a job and stay :D
If I will ever see you, I will let you know like "HI ZAC!!" 😂 But I'm faaaar away...15 km...😂
Germany loves you! 🎉
Hey! How did you ship your stuff from the US to Germany? Did you ship it with a container or by air?
Jesus man I joined the Army in 1996, talking about feeling old
So cute! 😀
As a newcomer, thank you for explaining your nickname. I will explain mine, since I am writing, maybe someone will care and rate my creativity:
I am Richard and people often called me Richie, which I like to this day, so I left it there. On the other hand, word "larpa" comes from an old Finnish game Liero and it was a name of one weapon and for some reason, I liked the name, so I put that there, to make it sound cooler. However since the game is not that popular, I have decided to give it a new try, logic and sense and "larpa" is now an acronym "LARPA", which stands for "Liberal Artist Representing Present-day Art". I know it is not perfect, but it is still better, than a rare and poor weapon from an old, unknown Finnish PC game.
Can I Show you The Obere Filstal? It is only 40 km away from Stuttgart. Very very beautiful Nature and interessting History + Castels.
I am also 98. Would be nice to Show u some other corner from Germany
Hi Zac!
How was it for you to move to another country without family or friends?
awesome video thank you for the info i was very curious ich mag deine videos xD
Thank you! I really appreciate it!
I speak German too. I was in Germany 🇩🇪 twice. Once in Munich Germany 🇩🇪 and Dresden Germany 🇩🇪 and Berlin Germany 🇩🇪.
Stuttgart used to be a nice place. I lived in that area from 1979-1981. My son was born there at Bad Kanstadt Military Hospital. Do not know what it is like now, but people back then did not like Americans there
I was born in Cannstatt and lived in weil der stadt. I miss Stuttgart.
You tried the Zwiebelrostbraten ? :)
Very nice 😊👍
My sister also studied abroad in Germany and ended up getting married and staying 😂😂
I moved on from France to Germany and also Stuttgart haha

I wanna move from Germany to the USA lmao
what are the names of beautiful german women in germany? Tourists :)
Quite possible, especially since domestic tourism in Germany is very strong. :P
Don't move to Berlin. Overrated.
We dont want you. We are way over our immigrant capacity 😂
Your video starts are unwatchable. Why do you scream at us in that fake hyperactive voice?!
But by the end of this not even 4 min. video the tone totally shifts. Your last sentences about Stuttgart where very pleasant to the ears.
You don't have to cater to US audiance by shouting our heads of. Your quieter softer voice sounds far better and ups the video quality! :)
Can't wait to leave Germany.
Those who want just do it. Those who don't talk about it all the time.
