I played the second violin part of this when I was in middle school. It was one of my favorite pieces.
He is my preferred one in terms of bass tone. Simply amazing
Thank you!🙏🤗🎻
Thank you Odon
Amazing playing! And btw what a wonderful instrument😍
Sicher, sehr musikalisch.
Marvelous. Thank you for sharing this beautiful job.
Now THIS bassist knows how to use the whole bow and phrase!!!!AND plays it like a concerto and not an orchestral excerpt. Bravo!
Yes, he missed a few notes and got a litte sharp but regained his focus for the rest of the movement. Given his beautiful tone and phrasing I could overlook that.
That orchestral accompaniment is very stylistically tasteful. Outstanding execution of the technique contextually with the phrasing.
Superb performance!
Fantastic performance!! Bravissimo dear Master Ödön !! 👏👏👏👏👏
Bravo! Sehr schön gespielt. Schöne Fingersatzlösungen ;-)

Fantastic. Dittersdorf? I thought I was listening to Mozart. I'll have to listen more to this Composer. Ya....1st time I heard Dittersdorf.
Dittersdorf was one of Mozarts teachers
bravo zsenialis
3:49 cadenza
This piece should be performed on an octobass
Would literally be impossible
WHY on octobass?????
@@musicatlas9 It would be amazing if it were possible, a new universe of sound!!! Or not ;)
@@stevesalzano942 a new universe of sound that is not audible for humans. Are you by chance a whale?
@@musicatlas9 How did you know!!! Joking. Actually I'm an elephant, we hear low frequency soundwaves all the time. :)

Does anyone know who wrote the cadenza? Was it Dittersdorf?
Heinz Karl Gruber
@@GGFloyd Muchos gracias!
eines der Haydnschen cellokonzerte war davon angeregt, oder umgekehrt
Different tuning?
E major
Looks like 4ths tuning. Check it out when he plays the harmonics.
This is solo tuning, the piece was written in d major but the strings are tuned a tone up.
patrıck süskınd :)
Nur Ludwig Streicher
Nobody can play bowed string instruments like romani and jewish people...they have a feeling for it, that cannot be taught.
