- A pod of more than 100 orcas was spotted by a Galveston party boat. FOX 26 spoke with the captains of the boat about the experience that lasted almost 30 minutes.
I was one of the lucky people on this boat to witness this. Amazing, I'll never forget it!

The chinese have fished out their normal feeding grounds so they find food elsewhere. Thousands of miles they travelled. Amazing and ocean kayakers beware.

A party boat goes a 130 miles out?
It was a 30 hour overnight tuna trip. 130 miles is not uncommon for this trip.
Wow wonder why they are there is it normal to see them in Texas idk .
No it's not normal, I've never heard of them in Galveston.
They don't normally live in tropical regions, however they do go to tropical regions to give birth and mate as well as clean their skin.
The transients travel all over!
There’s about 300 orcas in the northern Gulf of Mexico. It’s not common but they are there so you shouldn’t be that surprised
