- Update after some talks with Matt from PSA, very cool guy and explained the situation well. Obviously not the answer I wanted but one that makes sense.

Great update
đ€đŒđ€đŒ
Good to hear.
Thanks for the update!
Great info. I have the Compact Slide on my G19X, not the Micro.
I slapped the Complete SW4 Dagger Upper ($179 on sale) on my G19X Lower.
The Dagger striker won't work in my G19X Slide but the striker out of my G19X will work in Dagger Slide, Extractor also.
The extractor looks identical & fits but will not grab the casings.
Also, I had already installed an OW Precision TAC Trigger, 3lb Black Yikes Connector, Polished everything, a Master Trigger Spring Kit, etc.
(4lb Striker spring that fires everything I've thrown at her)
Then I put the gap adapter in & a 15lb SS Recoil spring for a non malfunctioning 9mm. Spent casing fly out at the 4 O'clock position.
With my Dagger Upper on? I get a very short Competition style 2.8-3lb Pull with a crisp break, very short forced reset. Zero mush, just a smooth short pull to wall.
However, if I swap everything out & go back to my Stock G19X Upper?
I get a 5.5lb long gritty ass mushy pull. Just funky. That's with the OW Precision TAC Trigger installed & spring kit.
The stock trigger was long, nasty & over 6lbs after polishing, adding springs & changing out connectors, etc.
So I'm running the Dagger Upper w/ the HE407c x2 Green that I got new for $200 shipped, Optics Planet sale.
Many ask why?
It was cheaper to get a complete Cerakoted, Threaded Barrel, Suppressor Sights, RMR Cut, etc. Upper rather than sending my stock upper off to have milled or buying a stripped $300 Upper..
I have an Open Sights Upper & Optics Upper.
Weird how these things work out and yes it is hard to beat the deal that PSA is pumping out with these slides, the optics cuts and different style slides plus optics combosâŠ.for the people they are
Lol it was because of your video I started running gen 3 slides on gen 5 frames. Ive ran multiple slides from different companies in my gen 5 and theyve all ran great
Glad I came across this, looking to get the 43x MOS but see the optics mounting issue & not wanting to send it out to Glock to get it milled(wtf Glock?), looking at the dagger slide for the cut as an alternative. So the moral of the story is to just strip the dagger & put in Glock OEM parts from the looks of it. Get with the times Glock, sheesh...
Iâm having problems with polymer 80 antigens re-block trigger kit I had to buy gen 4 sugar bar whatâs it called piece off and switch the peace but besides that itâs only problems I had was that that was a couple years back when PSA came out with the daggers and I was like man those guys are really knocking it out of the park everything OSA makes they really make a lot of nice thuhnbv
Good to know. Didnât even know they made a micro dagger frame at psa
Was going to check but there site is down
Yea man. So just the slides are available right now.
The frames and mags are supposed to be soon
@@RidinDirtyOutdoors makes sense. I got some ammo from psa a couple weeks back and checked out the G19 clone slides but didnât see the micro frames then. I should probably pay closer attention but I spend too much as it is.
@@jeffhuntley2921 I hear ya there lol.
Website is back up. Youâll see the options they have right now.
It will show the frames and mags as out of stock but they havenât actually released yet.
Your channel is one of the most informative on CZcams. Thank you!
I appreciate that brother!
Glad im sticking to the oem slide
These will be range slides for me. Iâd never get rid of my oem MOS slide
Went and purchased Micro Dagger complete slide in Gray with the shield cut install Cyelee Cat Pro red dot. Replaced firing pin w/ a Glock OME firing pin. Which I took apart and polished. Went to the range, no issues fired every round. It was your video on Micro Dagger slide that I pulled the trigger and purchased one.
Thatâs awesome brother! Glad itâs working out well for you!
Have you tried the mags yet?
Did you try swapping back to the OEM glock trigger?
Not yet, will today and update you
@@RidinDirtyOutdoors Bump
@@mattpsa When can we expect the micro dagger handgun to be released so we donât have to worry about this? Huge PSA fan here and have been anticipating the micro dagger since shot show 2022.
@@mattpsa just posted the update, you called it đ€đŒ
Thanks for this new pistol. Will be a good cheaper carry pistol,
Thank you for all your work sir, highly appreciate your time making these videos. Gotta a quick question. Do you know if the PSA slides work on Gen 4 or Gen 5 frames?? Thanks again and hope to hear back soon đ€đ»đȘđŒđȘđŒđȘđŒ
Thank you!!
Youâre referring to the compact dagger slides correct?
They can work with those frames. May require slight tweaking but Iâve seen it done several times. On the gen5 swapping the back plate has worked for a few people.
Awesome. Yes btw on referring to the Micro Dagger frames. I currently run a PSA compact dagger frame on a Gen5 G19 frame and I had to swap out the backplate on it. Again, Thank you for all your hard work and time invested in these info videos. đȘđŒđȘđŒđ„đ„đ„
Oh ok, in that case yes the micro slide âshould workâ with both gen 4 and gen 5 43,43x,48 frames
â@RidinDirtyOutdoors
I have a question. I see that glock has two seperate frames for the 43x/48. One mos and the other uncut. Will the RMSc cut dagger slide fit on a 48 frame that was not a mos gun? I have a straight g48. I would like to put the Micro RMSc comp slide on it. Can i?
The trigger bar was the part causing tolerance issues.
Nice nice
If it works with the factory glock trigger then i'd say the trigger bar on your aftermarket trigger might be the culprit dunno?? i ordered a new striker after watching your vid though so I wont ever run into this issue.
Itâs definitely tolerance related with the micro dagger slide. The oem slide works flawless with my aftermarket trigger and bar. Since swapping strikers havenât had an issue, easy enough of a fix
Do we know for sure the psa striker will work with the glock orm trigger?
Yes it does, I swapped the stock trigger in and it worked.
When does the Micro dagger come out? I have been waiting. I was eyeing a 43x. But wanted to see the micro Dagger
Not sure when frames will release. So far just slides and mags. Mags have been selling out like crazy and havenât been able to be kept in stock.
@@RidinDirtyOutdoors thanks for the video! Appreciate your time!
@@marcopolo363 No problem!
Is the micro dagger and the dagger the same thing?
No
Micro is based on 43, 43X, and 48. Dagger is on the G19 platform
Fiiiiiiirst! Good thing you figured it out.
If it's supposed to be glock clone the shit needs to work
I ended up making it work.
Strikers had to be swapped for their slide to work with my aftermarket trigger. Agree that Glock tolerances are more forgiving
you could say finicky or you could say the PSA is set up tighter and less loose with tolerances ( as Glock is known for... sometimes criticized for), which could be considered a better, more precise product.
Nah
Why are you using an after market PSA slide in your Glock ? Is there something wrong with the stock Glock slide?
Because I like to have different setups? Pretty common to have more than one slide for the same frame and run different optics.
I have a G19X & Run a Dagger Upper because of the Cost & the RMR Cut.
It was cheaper to buy a full complete RMR Cut upper than send my stock upper off & have it ruined from Milling.
I'm not spending $300 or whatever for a stripped upper, compared to what PSA is offering.
Personally I wouldnât chance it. Youâre already being told the specs on the parts are not the same. You only care about running the PSA slide on your Glock frame so youâre taking safety right out of the picture. When you are talking about trigger bars and firing pin specs youâre getting close to wanting problems. And those problems canât be taken back gps forbid they happen. I wouldnât chance it man. Why not just wait until you can get a dagger frame? Then youâll be safe. Glock 43x frames are so wildly out of spec compared to another 43x frame. I bought a Johnny Glock trigger that had no dimension or geometry change and had two different trigger SHOES and one caused burst fire and the other didnât. You talk about sketchy. I sent JG parts back to them for Inspection and they replaced a connector. They sent a new one back with the firing group and it looked identical to what they said was the problem. I installed it (luckily at a range and had a ND after racking the first round). You just donât know what can happen. They think my frame is out of spec and can only accept oem parts that have not been worked or have any kind of wear whatsoever. I canât send it to Glock because itâs been stippled. So my 43X just sits.
Itâs just a slide for the range, Iâd never carry with it, no real reason too since I have a 43x mos slide.
Iâve worked the kinks out now so sheâs reliable but still no reason to carry this slide for defense.
If you know what you're doing you'd be surprised what you can get to run flawless.
Think youâll do a shooting review at some point?
Yea I will, just got all this stuff and a few other accessories. Iâll be shooting it soon
@@RidinDirtyOutdoors nice
That Glock 43x&48 mos proprietary base footprint is the most asinine thing they ever done !!!
Sheild red dots sux's !
The shield rmsc footprint offers a ton of different optic choices. Not sure what you mean
Just get a Holosun 407/507K and a plate and you can run those or Trijicon. There are a ton of optics you can run on a 43x. You must be confused on this issue
For real! Iâve mounted several rmsc optics on my 43x with no adapter plates.
Rmsc footprint is very popular
Thanks for the review! Will the Truglo or other aftermarket sights fit the micro dagger slide?
@@jasonlong8625 if it fits a 43/43x it will fit the micro dagger slide
