"Get to know a city through the eyes of people who don't speak the language or understand how things work" 😅Love the concept.

Happy to assist you 😅. But jokes aside, I am convinced that the perspective of an outsider who gained enough experience in a city can be more insightful than that of someone who only lived in his own bubble for his whole life. Since they are often blind to certain things and see them as self-evident. For example, I only understood how truly messed up my hometown (Berlin) is in terms of drug use after moving away for good. And I don't just mean the party scene, but also kids growing up there. But I am also trying to incorporate a few locals perspectives.

@@TheMovementHub what you said ,It is true but what he said is too. In the end you don't know how they know or what they know and as a insider also can see much deeper. But i think what you said is also true. Maybe people have their own thoughts. But i think most of them no matter what are just talking about their perspectives and complains but no further genuine criticism.

Really interesting to hear the view of the woman about turn styles of the BVG. I love the lack of turn styles! Berlin feels so free because of this. I get a ticket. Trust system. Feels good. Am I the odd one out here? 😛

I woke up a bit hungover, here in Frankfurt and can't get up from the bed cuz I'm watching all your Berlin videos 😂 I'm moving to Berlin in a month so I'm quite hyped... Hope it doesn't disappoint me. I've been there several times to visit friends and I really liked it. I come from a very big city myself and wanna experience that metropolis vibe again (lots of things to do any time of the week, meet new ppl from all over, etc.) also being a programmer makes sense to go Berlin. But we'll see. Don't wanna have too high expectations. All my German friends told me "I think you're gonna enjoy living in Berlin but I really don't like it
    " 😂 Cheers

regarding the beggars in PT, and people ignoring them, you can tell the interviewee has only been living 4 months in Berlin...
Of course most people ignore them, try taking the U8 on a daily basis, it is a constant flow of beggars

4:45. Maybe it is better to build a society that people respect the society and respect each other in society and really have mature minsets to know how to work on your life and work on your family and then be digitalized, of course be digitalized doesnt necessarily mean exclude those parts but ...... I believe this is true, but I think both paper-based and digital things must coexist. I have lived in a highly digitalized world in Asia, where the environment tends to make people more gullible, easily trusting online information, or spending too much time online. This can make people more angry, envious, and jealous, and stop them from doing things that were simple in real life, as well as prevent them from thinking deeply. Digitalization may not be as difficult as it seems, and it is often seen as a sign of a more developed or intelligent society, but that is not always the case. Everything starts from the beginning, and people might need to stop thinking about how much effort it will cost and instead muster the courage to take action.

As a foreigner living in Berlin. I have noticed the biggest cause of problems in this city and frankly country are other foreigners.
Homeless are polish, discrimination , homophobia, racism comes from the middle east and Turkey. And so on…
