I had commented on your other channel before regarding our condo in Circuit Makati, but it cost us PP8million for 69sqm 1 bedroom on the 35th floor. We have a 180 degree view of the bay to Rockwell. We got it when it was probably 50% complete in 2017 but the turnover was delayed due to covid by a year in a half. That was fine though. We had a tenant residing in it in less than a year. It is now worth around 13million 🙂.

Things I look like in the condomium must be close to S and R or Landers , hospital, and exclusive school. Don't buy in the cheap area it will be a headache later on, especially for people struggling with HOA membership . LOCATION AND REFUTABLE DEVELOPERS .....due dilengence plus think ahead are they sustainable. 😊😊😊

Hey guys have y'all been in Tagaytay? There's so many overlooking restaurants there and the views are phenomenal. Also as a content idea, (not sure if you've seen some) Filipinos are known to have so many (LIKE A LOT) of musicians (Cover Bands) that's goes all over the world to perform. I should know cause I was a musician too and that is how I met my husband. LOL One example is Ariel Pineda, the band Journey found his CZcams video singing a cover of their songs and that's how he got invited to join the band as their new singer. I think he has his own bar now somewhere in Manila. If u need recommendations as to who to watch or interview just let me know. We're also visiting there in July and we live in BGC so hoping y'all have a meet and greet by then. Thank you for supporting my home country. Always be safe and more power to your wonderful family.

$135,000 for the small one bedroom with the cheaper finishes would be a fair value for that area. If one were to walk around BGC or Rockwell at night, one would notice only 30% of the condo unit are lite up so assume most are empty. I read speculators have purchase many of these units to flip so this may be one big over priced bubble ready to burst in the coming years. It would be wiser to rent and keep your money invested in the good old US.

Hope you’ll have a food tour in my hometown Iloilo! I recommend trying the famous La Paz Batchoy, Pancit Molo, Native Chicken Lechon , Lechon Pork and Seafoods at Tatoys Restaurant, Coffee at Madge Cafe and some local delicacies. Iloilo is one of the safest and progressive place in the Philippines. Condominiums there are cheaper but the area around is like BGC too, as Megaworld was the developer in the city. Enjoy guys and check out Guimaras island beaches too! ❤️🤩👍

About the businesses, this is a hotspot of Science and IT companies like Google, Samsung, Wells Fargo, Bayer.. So if you vlog near the Science Hub dont be suprised about the very strict security guards. But this explains the lots of residences. And single houses worth millions ;)
This development is also especially interesting for Koreans, because the Korean International School is right around the corner. And a lot live there, because of companies like Samsung.
Btw a lot of other viewers are surely intrigued too, by those village areas like McKinley Village or even Forbes Park.. Not because most could afford them, but how they live there, in such a densely populated city with skyscrapers, how it is to have big gardens and lots of green, like in Forbes Park which you can see outside either your or the Ocampos windows. I always wondered how the view would be from a garden and house there

The best option now in the market is SHANG Properties. Nothing compares whennit comes to amenities, they have good offerings at The Rise in Makati, or their preselling LAYA in Pasig, and HARAYA in Bridgetowne township also in Pasig.
They are great. And we’ve toured two of them. We have an episode on Haraya and Aurelia 😊
@livethephilippines or go for Alveo's Park East Place, along 32nd St. BGC, still.preselling. The resale market of Ayala Properties is very much appealing compare to other brand or developer.
I live in the 🇺🇸 and lucky to be able to purchase 3+1 bedroom unit at Park Mckinley West Tower C turn over next year of September. This place is part of Bonifacio Capital District It’s a quiet neighborhood and safest place to live because of other government offices will be relocated in that area like the newly built senate. It’s also close to the subway.

22:05 oh and another thing, because Phil likes to talk about his cocktails.. how about visiting some famous distilleries around the Philippines? If you should come to Negros, visit Don Papa Rum. Also near Manila, there are some interesting distilleries. For example, I am not sure if you tried Lambanog, which is distilled palm liquor. TasteAtlas rated it the No.2 out of 79 spirits in the world :) Lakan Distillery near Batangas is a nice one
There’s a distillery near the Lyceum university in Manila; toured the place in January 2024. Has a nice restaurant in very top floor overlooking old parts of old Manila.

I hope real estate ( condos) market collapse in China does not happen in the Philippines. I have seen this when Pacific Plaza, the Ritz etc in Makati when many condo owners stopped paying HOA and completely abandoned units ,cannot rent out, and the remaining primary residents had to cover the expenses for maintenance such as garbage collection, utilities for common areas, etc.
Good for family with school kids, there are good schools in the vicinity (McKinley Area)
I just bought a two bedroom condo for $549K in San Jose, Ca and its supposed to be the most expensive city in USA. It’s shocking to find out that Manila is becoming the most expensive City in the world 😮
It’s amazing that people can actually afford that price in the Philippines. I am so shocked at how expensive everything is back home.

condos are overpriced at USD 700K for two bdrm condos in the Philippines? Need to be paid in full at closing not worth the price. All your money is tied up in a condo and what happens if a housing bubble happens? Limited to no recourse unlike if were financed. the two bdrm condo is worth approx $250K-$350K and not $700K USD.
Well it's not like foreigners have a choice right beside renting. Foreigners can only own condo and only 40% of the entire building units to he sold in the Philippines
