    Last year was the first time I took my bike on a plane for a triathlon. Before travelling , I paid the team at my local bike shop to show me how to disassemble, pack and reassemble my bike. I'm a regular at my LBS and they were more than happy to spend an hour showing me the details of my bike. Thanks for the video, great tips.

    Got my second 70.3 in Cairns next month, got myself a new padded bike bag on wheels( so much better than a bag with no wheels it’s hard carrying it over your shoulder after 6 hours of swim,cycle,run) might be a bit strange to non tri athletes but I’m a bit excited about using it. Race not so much🤞🤞

    Been waiting for this video for a while. My bike has had a disaster every time I've traveled. Mainly the headset, and ultimate confusion in trying to get the whole front of the bike tight!!

    Awesome timing. I was literally putting my bike together after racing last weekend. Thanks!

    Nice pump. Got the same. Then I got a disc wheel 😁 and felt like an idiot when I held the nozzle next to the mini hole on the disc 😩 Amazon prime to the rescue for the adaptor

    I wish that Canyon soft side travel case was available in the US.....For reasons that no one at Canyon has been able to explain, that case is only available in the EU only....nowhere else in the world where Canyon sells bikes....Does anyone know why?.....Just wondering?.....

    James, what's the pump you're using?

    James, in the video that you've done some time ago about traveling with disc brakes, I think you've recommended removing discs. It looks like you didn't do it this time. Does your bag has some extra protection for the discs or did you find out over the years that it's not worth it?
    Edit: I'll be traveling with my TT bike for the first time this summer and I'm terrified :)

      Take them off a d stash them somewhere safe. It's not worth it. (This bike bag is pretty good, but also I've got lazy as not actually travelling to an important race!)

    I didn’t see you put your battery back in for your electric shifters. Does everyone lie at check in when asked if there is a battery in their bike case? Asking for a friend.

      @jamescunnama3583 Před 26 dny

      Installed batteries are fine. Spares must be in hand luggage. You should disconnect battery (or at least both derailleurs) though. Never had any issue in years of flying with Di2.
