She worked at a tanning salon during that time and her skin was being subjected to that, she didn’t intend for it to come off as black face, and genuinely felt ashamed that she hadn’t seen it before. Its crazy because that is a life cycle of 10ish years or less, none of the retired youtube stars seem to be over 50, and all this happening before my mid 30's.

Meat Canyon didn't quit. He stared a new channel called Papa Meat, and said he still plans on making animated content but it's just extremely tedious and the algorithm doesn't reward inconsistent uploads.

I think he just lost the spark, it's very common for artists. He's a big creator, and have great views on his animations, so the algorithm stuff doesn't make sense

I think this image though specifically was her wearing like clay or something for comedy that made her skin darker.
She honestly did nothing wrong and she retired from CZcams after 10+ years because some were mad and she made a genuine apology if anything from her past offended people now and that she never meant to hurt anyone. She’s always been supporting of everything and one and her videos were the highlights of most peoples days and her apology video to this day remains one of the only genuine apology videos from any CZcamsr.
The internets just sad and attacks people for no reason, there are far worse people they could’ve kicked off the platform such as James Charles for grooming minors and straight boys then jenna.

Joji being one of the most impactful CZcamsrs of his time turning into a top 500 artist is a one in a billion life story. The respect I have for the guy is immeasurable.
I’m not too sure but back in the early days of CZcams (2006-2012), two of my favorites were Xarity (who did some simple animations of mostly resident evil and silent hill games), and VoidDragonAtma (very random anime and gifs to various music) I always wonder what happened to those two.
