    Craft pro hands down is the best to start with. I just got one and it has been perfect. Plus Heat Press Nation is excellent with the customer service, they checked back with me two weeks after I bought my Craft Pro 15×15 to see if everything is okay. I love my Craft Pro and you right. You just getting in the game it takes time and 50 a day aint a bad number at all just starting out.

      vinyl works on all pf those things. good way to get goin. when it comes to doin hoodies and sweats. since those materials are thicker i would suggest a heat press with an easy adjustable pressure knob. cuz you'll have to apply heavy pressure but also adjust for the thickness.

    Also for those that can do it, not for everyone depending on your credit Heat press Nation offers Affirm, where you can pay monthly for a press, i just got my new one TODAY and it's about $45 a month through. Can do the same thing for the Cameo at Heat Press Nation. Walmart also offers the Cameo with Affirm. As well, Alot of the time Walmart will offer the Cameo 4 for $278, you can take that price to Michaels and they will Price Match that (as long as its shipped and sold by Walmart) and they will also BEAT the price by 10%. Saves you a little extra Bucks there. Also trying to sign up for Affirm does NOT affect your credit so if you ger rejected, it will NOT harm your credit in anyway and that is listed on there site.

    Whats up bro been watching your page for while. I want to start by first thanking you on being so informative and keeping it 100. I’m thinking of pulling the trigger on a set up. I want to just start printing my own shirts because Im tired of buying from the big brands. I would love if this could escalate into a small business being that I live in NYC and know a lot of people and small business owners. I also have 3 boys 15, 11 & 1 so I’m hoping I could teach them how to use it and maybe turn into a small hustle for them. My question is do you think I should buy the Cameo 4 plus and the 15x15 press and get it over with. Idk if most shirts are less than 15x15 or if 15x15 would be the ideal print size. The price isn’t the issue but if I’m most likely not going to use the 15x15 I would get the 9x13.

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  Před 3 lety +1

      design size is all that comes down too. will be creating designs bigger than 9x13? or will all your designs fit that dimension. nothin wrong with 9x13 but this is where you gotta be honest with yourself on what you wanna create. 15x15 is a cool all around press. size is good and versatile. so if your getting the cutter that cuts 15" sounds like a 15x15 would pair up good. cuz you can get the 12" cameo 4 and the 9x13 and save on money that way too.

      weedinng sucks. hahaha stuff thats really detailed, if its htv. i weed it out on my heat press. i'll heat it up, lower the heat down to the bottom. warm up the lower platen and then slide the drawer out and lay my htv down and atart weeding. i got a vid showing the process. for decal vinyl i use a small light table.

    Sup Big Brandoh! What's the selling point for HTV versus screen printed shirts? Why would customers choose HTV over screen printing?

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  Před 4 lety +1

      lets say the customer only wants one shirt. to screen print that, you would have to coat the screen with emulsion, let dry, burn the screen with the design, Shoot out the negative, let dry, set up the screen and make sure it registers with the platen, place a shirt on the platen, put the ink on the screen, flood the screen, print, take the shirt off and cure it in a conveyor belt dryer. now you gotta reclaim the unused ink, clean the screen or clean and remove the emulsion to reuse the screen. Done! lot of work for one custom shirt. HTV load the color vinyl they want, send the design to the cutter, remove the vinyl and weed out the negative space, heat up the press and press it on the shirt. done!
      htv easier to do from home, less messy, takes up less space. perfect for custom orders, 1 offs and shit like that.
