Yea because that's just want you want is humans and animals living in the same space, I'm sorry but that is not at all a normal living situation. Let me say I am not talking about the whole schoolie bus life, but animals belong outside in nature.
I've watched a lot of skoolie conversion videos, but this is probably my favorite. Intelligently designed and beautifully realized.

This really freaks me out...besides the fact that I imagined a few tiny details different, like a few more fold out beds and a different ceiling, you guys built the bus that was in my head to build for myself! Beautiful build. You could get a portable tub and store it where you can for a nice long hot hot soak and fill it at your leisure. We just heat water and set it up either in the living room or outside, its well worth the cost which is low. It comes in handy when you have hook ups and feels like a million bucks. They come in tin or rubber in all sizes. We ended up loaning it out when we stopped and the neighbors saw us use it.😎
As an animal owner/advocate I have always adjusted my lifestyle for my animals. You both have done a phenomenal job for your animals. Your conversion and utilizing space is one of the best

I'm a huge animal lover and have, over several decades, had several cats (former strays), parrots, various pet amphibians, hamsters, a beloved Great Dane and a black Lab/Shelter mix, and Betta fish.
I don't have animals for the first time, as of ten years ago. I don't.know if I'll have another pet; I don't miss having one as much as I thought I would. I have had a male roommate/long-time friend roommate for 18 years (maybe he counts as a type of animal. lol. Now, I can save for my trip to South Africa and Southern California (I grew up in Los Angeles and have happily lived in the San Francisco Bay area since '93). My arthritis is making it impossible to have any pet, right now. I will have X-Rays on Monday.
I love that you have an animal emergency book. Your set up for your cute rabbits and beautiful Tortie kitty. Maybe steps to the bed can help your older dog. I know they take up space so maybe they aren't possible.
If you haven't already done so, getting all of your animals microchipped, rabbits included, might become something you will wish you had done. Emergencies are never planned for or expected. There may come a time when, for whatever reason, one or more escape. Vets will scan for chips for free when someone brings in a lost animal for ID testing (I've done it). Having a collar with ID tag can speed up getting your pet back; also, a lot of people don't know about microchipping pets.
Also, screens can sometimes separate from the bottom or side of the frame when an animal is lying against it so it might need reinforcing.
Carriers: A situation may suddenly arise when you will need to remove all of your animals from the bus, even for a short time. Having carriers for your rabbits and cat will be essential. Your dog might need one, too. I know they take up room but it will be well worth it. The hard two part plastic ones are the safest. The top and door can be stored inside the bottom. Having blankets for cold weather are good to have. I made some and cut a slit in the top for the carrier handle to slip through. Doing the same with a sheet or something can help on hot days to help keep the animal calm. Having water in a container for them can become necessary. There are also bowls that can be flattened when not in use.
I used to take one of my parrots almost everywhere I went and took bird dishes, water, food, and carrier cover.
A smoke alarm is good, too.

Really nice point about the size of the fridge! I’ve seen some full size refrigerators on schoolies. I’ll bet they never considered how to remove it if it ever breaks down!

I live vicariously through people who are able to afford the freedom of living like this. Also, I totally understand when you said that you should love what you do for a living, I've worked for over 30 years in a position that is nothing more than a way to pay my bills....
I appreciated his frankness about how to handle the potential problems of a toilet and how to save tons of money by making your own. Also great having a shower inside!

It's adorable that yall's attire matches the color scheme of the bus. And the build is very clever. I'm planning a similar floorplan, but with bunk beds. Yall's build helped me decide on a few things.
BEAUTIFUL conversation..for your bathroom door get a retractable RV shower door its perfect for it including the size and weight..plus your shower..the same they have different styles etc..but for sure get retractable one you will be very happy plus privacy and looks Awesome i bought one for mine it looks great...the company that makes it its called (Stoeff.RV shower retractable.) ..good luck.great job.:))))

Great job. The only thing i might do different is leave the rear heating. Not only would it keep the whole unit warmer, but they help the bus run cooler. But kudo's for keeping the front. It's still a bus, not a house.

very good bus , I'm 83 and thinking of selling my home herein Hawaii and building a rig like yours. Like the use of the tool boxes in the home to hold your goods. Need one to handle a wheelchair.
Everybody poops, but I think that an accordion door would have been better, because it is more of a noise protection from the sound of nature! A curtain is not enough for me, but it is not by bus, and you did do a beautiful job.
I really like the trays that lift up within your couch storage. Great way to organize and keep the look within the storage aesthetically pleasing. I love it when inside a cabinet is as pleasing to look at as outside.

He can use slide door that slides into the cloths area and when someone use the toilet he can use it
Also i find the kitchen too big i can tell it takes like half the bus
I feel like the living area should be bigger
And the stove shouldnt be in the way if someone wanna pass by he cant it also near the toilet which kinda gonna be smelly As hell and let u quit cooking lol
Anyway the design after all is Great
And fits their needs

This is a BEAUTIFUL conversion! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this conversion, but...Adam talks a lot! LOL...I heard I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, mine, mine, mine, my, my, my SO MUCH while he spoke! Every word Rachel spoke was we, we, we. Her perspective seems focused on the "US" of the relationship. I would like to know more about the things she enjoys. Their build is beautiful, but I get the feeling that he is really high maintenance for her. I hope she has a special spot for herself to escape and have "HER" time - even if it is outside of the bus! Adam, if you ever see this, make sure Rachel achieves HER dreams too!
