Very glad to see West Wing cast members making a solid PSA - the candidate's ad is even funnier. This is a great use of their goodwill. Wish I lived in Michigan - I'd certainly vote for Dean McCormack, if only to see such a creative thinker on the bench! Now if only the WW cast would do a health PSA - like to get people walking....

It includes costs: $5000 (cast and crew donated time only cost was insurance and incidental), the fact that Mary McCormack (the lady in Will's office who also played the NSA advisor at the end of The West Wing) is Bridgette's sister and the script was written by Mary's husband. Apocalypse Now was a pretty good movie with a great cast... especially that one actor whose name escapes me at the moment. I think Jed Bartlet could play him in the remake if it weren't for the MS.

While the political grandstanding sometimes drove me crazy on this show, I did like it. And this video is a great way to get the point across.
