I like how if you add a second effect to the salt only potion, it just becomes the classic potion of Healing & Poisoning

This game is surprisingly in-depth for how simple it seems. I'm actually addicted right now
Tyler, for all of the special potions you save for the Stones and Salts, you can change the picture of the saved recipe to be that Stone or Salt. That way you dont have to hunt for them in the recipe book, they're obvious.
if you add philosopher's salt _slowly_ it can prove extremely effective at rotating potions once you are already at the desired effect's position.

Given the lore behind the philosopher's stone, it makes sense that it moves your potion to the closest effect: it's whatever ingredient you need it to be at all times.

I'm actually really surprised at the order here. The Philosopher's Stone is like THE thing that alchemists were after! I'd have thought the game would have you make the Phil's Salt in order to be a tool to make the Stone, and then the Stone would trigger some kind of boss battle, or even just the credits. As you say though, they're still working on the game, so who knows what the end will truly be?
Honestly can't blame you on not taking up the grind.

If your alchemy recipes are as good as mine, philosopher's salt is about 6 times cheaper than sun or moon salt when used only to rotate.

I really wish you could use blood as a base if you do evil reputation but it functions very similarly to the oil base. Maybe instead of watery zones that slow your potion movement, it has blood zones or fire zones that damage your potion faster than bones? Idk i was just really hoping blood was a potion base for my evil playthrough 😅
