Followed step by step & now all is good! Sentry is working & can't get enough of boombox. Thanks a lot man!
Is it still working for you? I had to make both partitions exFat format and name the main partition TESLADRIVE, and add subfolders. Sentry works fine with 2 partitions but even though my car can recognize there are audio files on the second Boombox partition, I don't have any option to select those audio clips under horn options

Hi, I got it working perfectly. thanks for the tutorial. I got a question, when I try to change the custom sound, it kept playing the same previous sound. even if I deleted the old one and removed the usb, the car still playing the old custom lock chime. any clue?

Ah man hard to say without physically seeing it. I would first make sure that you have the folders named properly and then try using one of the stock sounds from that website I showed to make sure it isn't the audio file you are using. Just to verify compatibility perhaps

Trying to figure out as well. He created 2 difference type of format partition which is odd. I pulled the original and it is TESLADRIVE in exfat format. UPDATE. Mine works now after renaming to TESLADRIVE. Both partition is set to exFAT. Still have not tested Tesla cam if it records. Will test later. Check your original Tesla USB to see what your vehicle named it to. It is possible it may create diff names just in case.
@@depthcharge6215 so the issue you were having was with naming convention in the folder? I wonder if they changed it in a recent update
@@TheHardwareJunkies No folder for the TESLADRIVE partition (Will test later in few hrs). BOOMBOX partition and Boombox folder works for me. The original TESLADRIVE partition had 2 folders with some called recent and another I forgot. Will update later on this.
Same issue as Hannah sentry mode was disabled as well not great
