The whole episode, and especially the tommy gun scene, is a great introduction to the differences between Joseph and Jonathan. Joseph is still my favorite JoJo.

Speedwagon couldn't do shit to Dio, the hamon clan were the ones that fighted so obiously when he encounters the same problem he is gonna ask them for help
I felt like Straizo was lowkey evil when I first saw him in Part 1 due to the way his design looked.
Speedwagon was the one who recovered the jojo fortune and made it multiply. At least he is out there on the field regardless of if he can fight or not.

Idk man, I think strize would of been somebody speed wagon thought he could trust because strize was there for the final fight against Dio and helped in defeating him. I think that gives the most reason to trust him and makes it even crazy that he was the one who ended up betraying them.

Fun fact alot of people's names and abilities in jojo's are bands or song names. So his name isn't actually straizo, it's straits and his buddy in part 1 was named dire for "dire straits" the band. The subtitles are changed for copyright. Same thing with Robert E O speedwagon (reo speedwagon).
