2020 Airstream Bambi 22FB (Unbiased RV Review)

- This video is a completely #UnbiasedRVReview of the 2020 @Airstream-IncBambi 22FB. This small #lightweighttraveltrailer is just what you would expect of an #Airstream. The beautiful #aluminumrivetedbody with classic rounded corner windows along with a feeling of spaciousness even without a slide are the features we loved most about this easy to tow trailer. We don't love the lack of #outdoorstorage, lifted toilet, and exposed tanks and drainage valves but things are traded off when you own an Airstream.
We think this would be great for a #RVSometimer. A full-timer could enjoy this trailer too but a snowbird would probably rather something with a little more space since towing and set up are not as big of concerns.
A vacationer or weekender could have a great time in this trailer but it is a bit pricy for shorter periods of use. The #Bambi22FB is great for a couple or #solotraveller, even those that may have occasional guests but we don't think it is the best rig for a family just due to it's size and the fact that there are better floor plans out there for families.

Enjoyed this review very much. The size of the bathroom is amazing & love that shower seat.Please let me know where to find the attachments u spoke of, at the end of the review.
Btw is the inside shower handle also fed thru an opening to utilize it as an outside shower?

We bought this model, our first RV in Dec and going on our first trip next week! I loved your review. The only thing you didn't show was the stereo/DVD system in the second overhead cupboard in the kitchen. And there was also a retractable clothesline in the shower. Can't wait to take it on the road!

I always enjoy your videos they stand out for their PRACTICAL aspects. Thank you. Question. I am a 63 year old single female and I plan to buy a trailer to be a digital nomad, just me and my dogs. I am fit but not mechanical. I have never owned a trailer or camper. At first I thought I wanted the Basecamp because it is small and easy to pull/navigate, but then I thought maybe the Bambi, for the extra space since I will be living in this. Any ideas for my situation? Thank you- you rock.

Good review! One thing I’d like to bring to your attention; the 4.3 Cu Ft refrigerator is in fact a 2-WAY, compressor type that runs on 110v or 12v. Even though the door looks small, it’s much deeper and more useable than the old style absorption design. On the outside, there is no venting required, resulting in a much cleaner look.
Thanks for that information but we did point out that sometimes a trailer is brought in with different options than what might be seen in the brochure and this one's spec sheet stated it had a 3-way fridge. The brochure does say that a 2-way is standard so you always want to check the specific info on the trailer you are looking at. Options can increase cost, increase weight and may not even be something you want, so you want to look closely. There are lots of pros and cons and discussions going on over which type of fridge is best. Our answer to that is the best type of fridge is the one that works best for you. It really is a personal preference and it is great that Airstream is letting folks choose. Thanks for watching.

Super video guys! Airstream trailers are great trailers but very little storage. They need to fix that compared to other premium brands...

Love you did the 22ft :) We have the same one but a 2013. We love it...it is an awesome trailer (perfect for two people) .......7yrs old and still in perfect condition ...quality.....imo
Missing it right now, so hoping we are able to use it this summer ...... lets hope for a vaccine soon.....
It was a little gem. We can see why you like your's so much. Nice to hear from an owner and know you are still happy after 7 yrs. We are all hoping things will improve soon and we can get back out there. We are still planning, just keeping it open for changes, being flexible. ve heard that the Airstream Campers, though beuatiful, are not that well insulated and can get very hot in the sun and freeze in the winter. I this true??

We have one...havent found any issue in the sun.....as there is ac inside:) havent used it in the winter....dont think the 22 ft sport is really made for winter weather......in cool spring or fall weather...its totally fine...actually nice and cozy......the furnace is very helpful on cooler days if needed

Also agree. We get it there are different styles out there but for us storage is more important.
Maybe someone could build a footstool with a drawer for comfort & storage.
For sure an option if you are ok with giving up floor space in a small bathroom. Pros and cons right? The question is how much does it inconvenience you or not. We would have to use it for awhile to make that determination. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and watching.

Thx this helps to set the measures into relation. Super nice informative video. There are not a lot airstream dealers in europe so it is a little hard to go and see diff. Models.

We are located in Austria and are looking into buying one for roaming around good old europe.

This is good for one person and some dogs. Two people - not enough space.
We think it is a great 2 person, 1 pet rig or a 1 person, 2 pet rig. Two people are having wonderful adventures in even smaller rigs out there but as we always say 'there is Right RV out there for Everyone'.
