Doing some work around the off grid log cabin in preparation for the addition I'm going to build.
This is not a "How to build a log cabin" video. Its just me trying to fulfill my childhood dream of building a log cabin. I am not a carpenter, I am just doing the best I can with what I have. Thanks for watching and hopefully you subscribe for future log cabin videos.
A log cabin is a dwelling constructed of logs, especially a less finished or architecturally sophisticated structure. Log cabins have an ancient history in Europe, and in America are often associated with first generation home building by settlers.

Another great one there my buddy , if hard work and determination is what will be needed to get that rock out of it you got that. Have a safe trip at work and looking forward to your rock removal.
Oh the Newfoundland weather lol great cabin, lots of hard work went into that cabin for sure . Thanks for sharing and all the best
13, time to call your friend Jack. You know Jack, Jack Hammer. LOL
Great insight on the new cabin addition Troy..........Sthil.......I hate them.......
Getting the quad around the cabin was literally the most sketchiest thing I've ever seen you do. I'll admit I was a bit nervous.
I take that crab lunch boy.
Be looking forward to seeing ya in 20 days safe travels my friend
Always a great evening when a new 13Prevail vid is uploaded.
👍👍
Likeaaa glove 🤣
Love that cabin!
A good hot fire or roofing tirch will break up that rock in manageable pices. . Some people used to throw cold water on the hot rock to get them to split . Some just used all heat
Great video. Going to be bit hard work to get chunks of that rock. Need a jack hammer. See you on your next video when you get back buddy. Take care.
Man I need a drink after watching you get your quad to the back. On the edge of that cliff, WHEW!!
Troy would you be able to let your floor on the addition to be higher than your main cabin so you could rest your floor on that rock which is imp. to move , or maybe you could move your floor down from the corner to get away from the rock and it would be easier to square up the addition floor , see you again on days off , take care , God Bless
Hahaa like a gloove!
awesome!
You're a hard worker Troy it's always good to see you and Lukey 😊 see you on the next one take care 👍🐕
Not sure if you have one but to get that rock out maybe a hammer drill with a good chisel on it. Way better then hammer if you do. Goodluck!
Sweet Jesus man, be careful with that heavy shit. So good to see you fired up and ready to giver!!
I have had to do this a few times a few good hot fires and a sledge hammer got the job done there is grain in rock just like wood and if hit in right place she breaks.or dynamite Lol
Great video buddy
Ya need some home made rock remover to break that rock up. Good luck at work and with the build.
Now that's a good lunch!
A battery hammer drill and some cracking agent will crack that rock
The afgan the saw the go pro the flys it’s comical but not 😂😂
Lol i dont wanna rip it!
Should keep propane outside ...just in case of leaks .
looking forward to seeing back, safe travels
