What would you recommend for someone who wants to have (feels like they have to have) two personas online - one personal, one professional? Does it make sense to have a portfolio with LinkedIn and maintain a completely separate Instagram sharing personal writing? I suppose business growth would be slower, but that's the choice I'm having to make right now.
@@hinterly It's different for everyone, but I personally have a private IG account for just friends and family, a public IG (that I rarely use) for my brand, a public LinkedIn, and a mostly public Facebook profile. But, again, you want to be where your target audience is. No need to be everywhere. If you just want to have one public/branded LinkedIn profile because that's where most of your leads are likely to come from, that's fine.

I honestly don't have funds to host a website. Already starving as is.
As for the google drive way, what should I include in the items? I mean, how much of the writing process? Outline, keywords, or what? Just the finished article? Or commentary?

Hey! You certainly don’t need to choose Bluehost and Wordpress, I just found them to be some of the easiest to use. I recommend researching the best hosts and CMS.

Hey - I suggest writing your own articles on LinkedIn,. trying to land some guest post opportunities, and maybe posting on Medium.com. Since you are just getting started, you don't necessarily need a website yet. I like to suggest starting a website once you decide what your focus/niche is going to me. Until then, try to get a few work examples under your belt.
If you wanna really wanna be a content writer, why spend money and time doin masters in a thing you dont wish to make a career in. I'm an Indian too hence curious.
@@shivinunitholi2493 I think in India a lot people feel freelancing is a side hustle. They don't look at it like a proper job. Also, there is the Indian mentality of always keeping a plan B using education.

Hey Jessica, Im what I saw on your FB page, you're a copywriter and not a content writer. So what niche are you in for writing copy.
Hi - I do copywriting AND content writing. I do copywriting for web pages and landing pages, and I do content writing for "SEO'd" web pages and blog articles. My focus in primarily on marketing, SaaS, and tech-related content, but I do have a few outliers.
Can anyone please tell me if I can freelance using a fake name? Due to some personal reasons, I'd rather not use my real name and address. Is it mandatory to use real names and other information?
Hey Rain - I don't see why you couldn't use a fake name. You would probably need to register your LLC with your real name (as in, the contact information) but you can operate under your chosen business name (for example, my company, Keys&Copy) and use a fake name as the point of contact. I think you would just need to use your legal name for registration and taxes.
